Classic, Elegant, Convenient

Impeccably clean, well- appointed rooms. Located in a ver convent down town location within walking distance to many great restaurants and coffee shops. A block from the hop on bus stop (7) for easy self touring. The hotel concierge staff were knowable and helpful. Neil made excellent tour and dinner suggestions with followup for reservations. All and all a terrific hotel for any stay in Vancouver.

Great experience overall (except for the eggs)!

Great location! The Fairmont gold lounge breakfast and afternoon tea were quite good! The evening canapes have reduced in quantity/quality since last year. My only other concern was that they served ham in the fritatta as well as separate bacon/sausage. For those who can't consume pork, this was a significant disappointment and a surprise, especially for the price paid. The service was excellent overall, especially, Ayushi in the gold lounge. She was there for both our trips this year and went above and beyond, anticipating our needs - very pleasant/professional.

Great stay in Vancouver

We stayed here for 1 night before our cruise then for 3 more nights before flying home. The hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff couldn't be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were perfect

Excellent location and awesome building

Stayed one night before a cruise and loved it. Location was perfect to walk anywhere we wanted to go. Service was great as they held our bags before check in so we could explore. Room was ready in a very reasonable amount of time considering we were definitely early. Everyone we interacted with was super nice. I would definitely stay there again. Looking forward to actually visiting Vancouver instead of just stopping by.

Not impressive

Between not following finding my name when I called to check on my reservation, having my name reversed in your system not correcting that (had to figure out WiFi sign due to reversal of name), not having my room ready until after the check in time, putting me in a handicap room without asking, challenging in efficient elevators (seemed only two were working), the most outdated business center (really Ethernet cord plug in), and a very long wait for me to checkout (Bellman had to go find someone to work the front desk and get my receipt (10 plus minute wait). I was not at all impressed and frankly very disappointed. Bright spot was a lady at the concierge desk with black lab that helped me in such a friendly way with my printing need.
