VERY BAD - DON’T RECOMMEND ANYONE

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Here are the main issues we encountered: - The juices and cocktails at the beach bar were terrible and made from fake syrup. For example, when we asked for orange juice, we got a mixed pina colada flavor, which was so disgusting it went straight to the trash. - Some food was with insects and flies, on top, both inside and outside dining areas. Plates were constantly not washed properly, and we had to dig through to find cleaner ones. The food was the same every day, with lunch leftovers being served for dinner. - By day three, we suffered from food poisoning. - Our room had mold, including in the fridge which didn’t work. There was an ant nest in the room, holes in the walls and ceilings, and the pool was unsafe. - Only one elevator worked properly, and each ride you needed to pray for safety. - They took our passport for beach towels, or demanded $30 to keep them for a few hours until our departure, which is hilarious never had this in any hotel before. - There was no Wi-Fi at the day of departure leaving us completely disconnected. - On the day of departure we were flying at night around 12pm so we wanted to stay at the beach and then in the evening have a shower in any room they give us, which they refused to give, only to let us pay 10$ per every additional hour. The checkout is at 12am and the only option they gave us was paying 10$ every hour until the evening which would be like 70$ additional dollars just for us to shower from the beach. This was a basic thing in any hotel we’ve been to to give us a free place to shower before we leave… I guess here not and the girls at the reception are very rude as well, they act like they cant do anything just so you pay and pay. - The hotel resembled a post-apocalyptic scene, with very low hygiene. - Our bedsheets were not changed until we specifically requested it. - Despite there being three of us, we were constantly provided with only one towel in the room and had to ask for more each time. - The room’s "purified" water bottles were foul-smelling and tasted like tap or pool water, unsafe to drink. - The air conditioning was extremely loud. - We had to carry the same beach towels every day, as no fresh towels were provided. Overall, the condition and service at this hotel were unacceptable and far below basic standards. The only nice thing was the beach it was one of the nicest we have been to. NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE

First time in this hotel, loved it. I’ve stayed at others many times, Bella Costa is the best. The food is very good and has variety. My picky daughter actually ate full meals chosen by herself. The entertainment team is good. Sol is the best. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come here again.
