This was our 5th time to Los Cactus and it was the best trip yet! The staff welcomed us back with open arms and lots of hugs. They are our second family. The food was great there were no shortages. We drin...k the rum but there were other selections as well. The beach is honestly the best! I encourage anyone looking to stay in Varadero to chose los Cactus you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to go again next year and see our Cuban family! On another note, there are so many repeaters, some who have been going 30+ years and that should tell you alot about los cactus and the staff right there!

This was my 10th visit to Los Cactus and I will be back I love this hotel It’s older, but that is what is so charming about it They have done some remodeling and I miss the beautiful wood windows and furn...iture in the main lobby ?? The staff are amazing and it’s wonderful to be remembered when you return The rooms are spacious and clean Beds were comfy, and no loss of hot water. The food was good and the a la carte restaurants were very good Visiting Mabel every night for a special coffee was a treat. Thank you to Lizbeth and the rest of the stafff for making my solo trip so easy and fun Please remember to TIP the staff ( no loonies or toonies) banks won’t accept them. Staff work very hard and should be compensated. See you all next year P. S. Hope my cats are doing well. I’m glad I brought treats for them ????????????
