Here we go. Went there in April 2025 to celebrate 2 April b-days. The Good: The front desk staff was friendly and made our check in free of worries. The view to the beach from the rooms and lobby are amaz...ing. The bartenders at the adult pool were very friendly and did not make us wait long before refills. The waitstaff in the restaurant (near the lobby) particularly Rosario and Roger were fast-super-tastic (5 stars each). Cleaning staff did a good job with room service. The Bad: The food served in any of their restaurants (Buffets, El Mexicano and the Italian place) were horrible and the worst culinary experience in my time traveling) It's unfortunate for some of the waitstaff that the food could not compliment their service for travelers to have a pleasant experience. The rooms are terrible outdated. I sincerely don't believe the company will do much to make negatives positive based on the reviews I've read prior to posting my thoughts.
Never expected this experience in an all inclusive in Cancun before

First lets talk about the positive: Internet works pretty well in all hotel premises. A la carte restaurant "El Mexicano" has good service and food. Luis Garcia the food and beverages manager was really h...elpful and in general all people attending guests were very friendly. Then the negative: Food in buffet services is of poor quality and with not much alternatives. Even coffee from the auto machine, which is supposed to be really fresh is a waste. Mostly salads, but no dressing for them. Rooms outdated. I was in a 4 floor from a 7 floor building with two elevators, only one was working during my whole stay of 6 days. Last day the one working stop working so no elevator. At the beach there are sunbeds but no umbrellas, neither shades....few palm tress with no foliage...so no shade. The life savers work from 9am until 6pm before 9am security guards don't allow you to enter the sea because they have that instruction and the same after 6pm....what to go to a beach hotel then....the lifesavers put red flag all over the beach = not allow to enter the sea...but if you walk 200 mts to any of both sides of the hotel, then yellow flags are at the beach and of course you can enjoy the sea....room doors don't seal, so anyone walking or talking at the corridor will be heard inside the room, same if people inside the room are talking....in general the rooms are outdated. The last day of your stay better to leave no later than 1pm, because since you check out not later than 11am, the bracelet given to identify you as a guest will be removed and by that after 1pm none will serve you at the bars or the restaurants. You want to do a reservation for a la carte restaurant, sure, be ready to do a line of people at 7am and starting 7:30am they will start taking the reservations, sometimes at 7:30am they already don't have any available space, so the alternative is to go to a buffet restaurant and be ready to have salad with no dressing. At the bars, don't ask for anything unusual, because they have just the basics; tequila, rum, vodka and whisky...and of course don't expect high end brands. I can assure you, I wont return to this specific hotel and now, will be more careful in regards Barcelo chain of hotels because this one was not a good experience.

It was my first time in Cancùn and this hotel made me want to come back. Thank you Jose Perez and Yolani for making our stay memorable.
