Very Nice Resort Option
BMac2005 (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) on Dec 13, 2024
Omni is a VERY impressive resort. It's incredible clean and impeccably decorated. Service overall was good. I wish there were more food and beverage options. While the restaurants are closed mid-afternoon there's almost no place to get food or drinks on the resort for hours at a time, which I thought was odd. Room service has extremely limited hours, too. My room wasn't ready even though I didn't check in until 4 pm. Valets were great.
Disappointing Experience During My Stay
577vladf (Coral Springs, Florida) on Dec 13, 2024
Upon arriving in my room, I found two complimentary water bottles, one of which was half full—likely from the previous guest. The hot water in the bathroom either wasn’t working or required more than 15 minutes to heat up. This was on a day when the outside temperature was 40 degrees, so I waited, but while doing so, the tub was not draining properly. This prevented me from being able to shower and relax as I had hoped. As a result, I ended up staying only one night instead of the two I had planned, which was very disappointing.
Great service!

While at the AESA Conference we were delighted to be helped by Tiana at the front desk. She is the best representative of the hotel's service! Our stay was very comfortable. Dinner at Trevi's and Eagles Edge was delicious and fun. The resort is beautiful and I saw an alligator sunning in the pond!
Top 5 hotel experience of all time

I can't find one thing about this hotel/resort to criticize. The decor, the amenities, the treatment from the staff, the grounds, the activity choices. All of them were top-tier! Taking walks out on the jogging / walking path was so beautiful and peaceful. This is one of my favorite hotel stays ever.
The more you spend, the less you get.

The bath room lights are on motion sensors and would shut off in the middle of my shower. The TV had issues where the programming would glitch out when left on for a long period of time. I don’t understand why they charge $35 / night for parking. Only Loyalty members get free WiFi? Who charges for that anymore? The staff was friendly but for the money, I’d expect more.
