El Dorado experience. Excellent food, excellent service. The onion bread was absolutely Devine, and most importantly, the service from Jorge was absolutely brilliant. The ambience at the restaurant was ve...ry welcoming. We will certainly be back again!!

We came back last week from having our wedding at the Colonial with 40 of our friends and family. I was worried by some of the bad reviews, but I cannot say enough about how smooth everything went. Our we...dding coordinator Aurora was the most amazing and helpful person. We first started talking with her months ago via email to do the planning and I was thrilled that she was also our day-of coordinator. She took all the stress away, the wedding was perfect and it was all thanks to her. The ceremony was so well organized, and she made sure the reception area was decorated exactly how I had imagined it. With such a large group, we expected to have a few room issues. Some of our group had to have their safe fixed or move rooms because of broken A/C, and the hotel was great at getting everyone sorted out right away. The rooms were always clean (shoutout to Carlos cleaning villa 31!) We found the buffet at the White Sands better than the one at the Colonial. We also preferred the White Sands pool since the one at the Colonial is very deep, but we were happy to walk around and explore different areas of the resort. Booking dinner was very easy. I think it helps to travel in the shoulder seasons when it is less busy. We found the service at the swim up bars pretty slow, but we luckily had Paola serving us poolside drinks and our whole group loved her. The soccer field on the resort is amazing and we used it a few times. The Sports Bar staff also kindly played the Oilers playoff games twice while we were there. If we had to do it all again, I would book at the Colonial and not change a thing. We are still getting messages from our guests about how much they loved it. The resort is a perfect combination of relaxed, fun, and classy.

The food selection and service was excellent. Our tummies were happy. I would like to thank Javier and Fatima for their hospitality during our visit. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I would highly... recommend any of the Palladium group hotels.

The butlers, porters. golf cart drivers, waiters and waitresses were genuinely friendly and hospitable. Some even remembered our names after meeting the first day. I would especially give a shout out to Le...sley (restaurant hostess), Daniela (Villa 50 butler), Guillermo (Villa 50 butler), and Javier (La Hacienda omelet chef).

Resort is very clean, well taken care of. We stayed in the Romance suite poolside, the resort is very expansive, and distance between areas is a stroll through well taken care of brick paths through the ju...ngle. Lots of wildlife to be seen around walking paths. Employees were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend booking all dinner reservations at the beginning of your stay because they book up quickly. Would definitely go back to this resort.
