Just had a 7 night stay here and sadly it didn’t live up to the expectation . We are from the UK and very much in the minority as hotel mainly has USA and Canadian clientele. I will give you my honest opinion and tips if you are coming here . ARRIVAL TO HOTEL- We had a smooth arrival and our operator VIP Rivera maya/Lomas travel were excellent and recommended, On first impressions the hotel is very appealing , we upgraded to an ocean front $80 per night which was nicely located but getting tired , amenities were good with fridge stocked daily but for some reason despite asking for milk/crema on lots of occasions we never got any all week , used hot tub once but it wasn’t powerful. TV has good movie channels all day if that’s your thing . POOL AREA- I got up most mornings at 7.30 and bagged our beds , you are told not to leave them more than half hour or towels removed which never happened, pool is over run with pay extra cabanas which is a shame .($109-130) a day The activities are great and the entertainment team are really good but on occasions the area is overrun with very drunk and loud clients which was annoying at times , if you want quiet then use the pool the other side . BEACH-Despite people saying no beach here there most definitely is but it’s not big but it’s beautiful, white sand and crystal clear water . FOOD- DRINK-Mmmm, some good some not so good. Overall pretty satisfying but cold on occasions. Chefs plate $119 for two is worth it . Wine is generally good but don’t buy bottles as expensive. My main issue was the lobby bar not having enough glasses for wine in the evenings, It was a real effort to get one and some nights we got wine served in plastic pool cups, this is a Hilton right ??? STAFF-Excellent staff all round from cleaners to waiters and servers. Is this value for money ?No there must be better just think 4 star turkey and that’s what you have here . Entertainment is ok but cheesy and again spoiled by over egoed people at times I expected more from the Hilton brand and would we return ? I don’t think so it’s just too full on drunk party vibe

I frequent this resort often since 2008. This was my third time staying there just this year and it has become my home away from home. The staff is amazing, saw a new faces but so the best part of this resort is many of the staff have been there for years and they are like family. Suites are spacious and the food is amazing. Tough day of travel to Cancun…flight delays due to mechanical, my bag was gate checked in Nola and did not arrive in Cancun, transportation to resort was delayed. Three people in particular turned my frown upside down. Edgar at the front desk provided a quick and seamless check in as we were pretty exhausted from a very long day. Jose with the entertainment team provided two amazing mornings of stretching, he has a gift in just calming your nervous system down and David the butler took care of everything from prior to arrival all the way through check out. Even though we were there during Helene, we had a wonderful time. The rain did not damper our trip as this resort is located right in the middle of town so we just spent a rainy day hopping around on 5th Avenue shopping and enjoying cervezas. Was a last minute trip, only a few days but had a wonderful time, you are truly spoiled at the Hilton PDC. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed 8 nights at the Hilton PDC, and I have nothing but praise for this hotel. The resort is beautiful, the food is delicious, the location is perfect, but what really stands out is the exceptional staff. Every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile and a hand over their heart. Special mention to Mario, the amazing bartender, to Deborah, who is incredibly kind, and to Alejandra, who served us at the beach with a big smile and always remembered our names. We can’t wait to go back!

This was our 2nd trip to the Hilton PdC, this time returning with our daughter. Firstly, we had a lovely holiday, the weather was fantastic even though we experienced some torrential rain during one afternoon. 1. The entertainment team are superb, David in particular is a superstar. Always something to keep you entertained, even if you don't want to join in, half the fun is watching everyone else. 2. The restaurant staff are all so very friendly and accommodating, Mario in Spice couldn't be kinder and so friendly. I was disappointed that Spice was no longer open for dinner, I don't understand why, and it did make it difficult finding dining options to cover a 9 night holiday, but we managed, thanks in the most to Kalamata and Asiana- delicious food. I'll mention the pool cabana's purely because I feel there are too many of them, and it limits the free to use sun loungers close to the pool, those are mainly placed behind the cabanas furthest away from the pool which is unfair. I refused to pay for a cabana so dutifully got up early to grab the loungers on top of the pool bar, which by the way have the best view of both the pool and the ocean. The beach area at this hotel, on this occasion, was pretty much non existent due to a constant high tide, and it seems as though this has been the case for some time, and there was evidence of erosion and visible cables showing through the sea wall. A lot of the beach cabanas had been moved to the pool area as there just wasn't the space for them on the beach. We walked along the beach to the left, where it is much less rocky and just delightful. Our first night we discovered that our mattress was very poor, this was changed immediately when we informed the staff, and also the aircon was fixed when we told them it was stuck on 23 degrees!!! All in all we had a great holiday, but 2 times is enough at this hotel, if there's a next time for us in Mexico we'll try somewhere else for a change. Oh, for a great day out, try Xplor park... fantastic fun.

They have the worst service i have ever had , we came here to celebrate our honeymoon & we turned to be upset instead of being happy! If you looking for a good service just go find a different hotel I don’t recommend ??????????????????????????????
