excellent phone reservation assistance

I received excellent assistance making a change to my reservations over the phone with Diante Ashby, who works on the hotel property. l was hesitant to make the change online because there appeared to be a... price difference. So I called the hotel, and Diante helped change my reservation at the original price. He was knowledgeable about room types, rates and the neighborhood parking.
Great Place -- Catamaran

The place was spotless, most friendly front desk, great location. Our second time at Caramaran. Did I mention,,, great location. Loved the bartenders for a late night drink. We were on first floor and... would request again. Sat on the patio and grass area watching the morning runners ( we walked every day over 10,000-21,000 steps per day). Found a cute breakfast place and always visited the foster home for dogs.

Nice location, great spa and massage by Shelan. I liked the location on the bay and beach. Enjoyed the facilities. Beautiful grounds- reminds me of Hawaii with the foliage, waterfall and fish ponds. Easy w...alking to the beach and boardwalk.

Great hotel, feels very tropical with a great walking path along the water. The restaurant on site is fabulous and there are many places to lounge in front of fireplaces. Alan in Valet was amazing! He was... very professional and I appreciated his assistance without me asking with my heavy suitcase!
Would go again with some things in mind

We stayed at the Catamaran for 4 nights in a one-bedroom, bay view tower suite. It was the perfect accommodation for us (two adults and an 18 month old). The suite featured a kitchenette with fridge, sink,... toaster oven (that needed a good clean), microwave, dish soap, sponge, and basic dishes and cutlery. One thing we definely would bring next time is a roll of paper towels, especially staying with a toddler. Here are a few things to note! - The bedroom only has one nightstand. This wasn't a HUGE deal, but it does mean that there is only space for one person to charge their devices at night. If I booked this room again, I would definitely bring an extension cord! - Housekeeping comes every day, which is lovely! They make the bed and refresh towels and coffee. I noticed that there were no "Do not Disturb" signs present in the room (and seemingly no one else on our floor had them, either). This is a little disappointing when housekeeping hours align with a toddler's naptime, so this is something I hope management considers adding to rooms. - We had groceries delivered to the hotel, but the front desk does not have places to store cold items, so if this is in your future, just make sure that you are present at the time of delivery. - We were able to get a crib for our toddler to the room. Even though we had requested this via text a few days before, we still had to call housekeeping to have one delivered. Not that big of a deal, but it was "one more thing" for us to worry about upon arrival. - One of the glasses in the bathroom was cracked and shattered upon my putting it down. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but with a toddler in the room, this was a little alarming that housekeeping didn't catch it was broken... (they also didn't notice that it was shattered after leaving it on the counter for them to take the entire 4 nights of our trip). - Our parking was comped since we were staying more than 3 nights-- woohoo! - On our last day, there was some pretty decent maintenance happening in the lobby of the tower (it looks like they were replacing floor tiles). In my experience staying at other resort hotels, it seems like you would let the guests know that this was scheduled BEFORE taking reservations for rooms nearby. We could hear the tile saw all the way up to the 10th floor! Had this not been out last day, I would have requested to move rooms because loud noises and toddler naptimes just do not co-exist. Additionally, the tile and grout dust were getting into the one usable elevator which did not feel safe to breathe as the construction workers were all wearing masks. I'm curious why management reserved rooms nearby knowing that construction was going to be taking place? - The location was perfect! Walkable to dining, coffee shops, and the beach while still feeling safe. The bay side didn't look like the kind of water I would swim in, but it was perfect for kayaks, boating, etc. Not to mention, the bay view from our room included views of the ocean-- it was gorgeous! Overall, I would definitely stay again but bring an extension cord and perhaps make my own "Do Not Distrub" sign!
