I am a SD local and recently came to the Catamaran to visit my cousin who was staying there. We had the pleasure of meeting your concierge, Mikko. I am writing this (and I never feel compelled to do this) because he went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. It was a Friday evening and it was my cousin's wife's birthday. Not only was Mikko able to get us a table last minute to one of the coolest restaurants we have ever been to, but he also followed up with us the next day and had a whole day's itinerary suggested for us as well. It's not hard to provide that level of service but very few people do these days and it was refreshing to know that the Catamaran and Mikko embody it. It made my cousin's trip and they can't wait to come back!

My trip started with a nightmare of flight delays and cancellations, followed by frustrating customer service hold times with the airlines and OTAs. Feeling exhausted and defeated, I braced myself for another hurdle when calling the Catamaran about my late arrival. Victor to the Rescue! Imagine my relief when Victor in reservations answered the phone! He was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding. Victor completely turned my day around. His exceptional customer service not only addressed my concerns but also left me feeling genuinely welcome. Thanks to Victor, I can't wait to experience the Catamaran's beauty firsthand. Their commitment to exceptional service is evident even before I arrive, and it has already made a huge difference in my travel experience. I highly recommend the Catamaran to anyone seeking a welcoming stay.

I'd like to mention a staff member, Diante Ashby, for the excellent customer service provided when we called about our reservation. We needed to make a change in dates and also accommodate multiple parties. He was so helpful and patient with any questions we had, and sent us the confirmation immediately. Thank you!!

I had a great experience at the Catamaran, Mikko the bellman was super helpful in giving me information about the area and the hotel! Would highly recommend. It is a very beautiful place, and all of the staff are very kind. Looking forward to visiting the next time I’m in the San Diego area.

I'm very excited for my trip to San Diego next month. At the time of writing this review I have not yet stayed at the Catamaran, but so far the experience with the customer service and booking agents have been wonderful. I called at least a dozen resorts in the area to narrow down the best location for my family and I (couple in our 30s and 2 children 5 and 18 months). After all of my research, I felt most comfortable choosing the Catamaran. I have to say Rocio, who initially took us from 0 to 100 answering all of my questions then solidifying the reservation, and following up with Diante who helped us amend our reservation were so kind and easy to talk to. Rocio and Diante are certainly part of the equation that lead to us choosing the Catamaran and I'm looking forward to seeing how the resort is once we're there. Thank you!
