Overall this was a great family vacation. Rooms and resort were well maintained and clean. Staff were friendly! We went to Cuba well aware the food would be okay. We took some spices and condiments. In the main buffet, food was average and what we expected. Unlike other hotels, we had plenty of food basics. If you dont eat pork, choices are limited which was difficult. And there are hardly any labels in english of what the food is which made it difficult to know what you are eating. We had to ask staff everyday what the dishes were, and they didnt look very confident and their was a language barrier for the most part. There was also no fries or hashbrowns. On the last day, we discovered that we could request fries through room service. The mediterrean restaurant was really good, the best lobster i have had. I was looking forward to the gourmet restaurant but because no one under age 10 cant get in, we couldnt try it, so we were limited to only the 2 a la carte out of the 3. The magic show was the best! Outstanding singers and dancers. Although they were really talented performers, apart from the magic show the nightly shows were repetitive. It would be nice to have some comedy and more interaction with the audience. Beautiful beach, pool was great! We took a trip to havana which was nice. Overall a really good trip! Cuban people are really friendly and try to make the best with what they can. We heard horror stories about other hotels. Definitley would go again!

The people here are very nice and kind we did lots of fun activities with them like dance lessons, sports and ect.. Miguel really was a really good help he was very kind and helpful so we're all the housekeepers and the waitresses and waiters the food was good and the drinks

I’m having an awesome vacation here in Cuba at Iberostar Selection Varadero. Had I listen to some of the negative reviews and not come here I would have really missed out. This resort literally has everything we are looking for in a vacation. Fabulous beach, lots of food and drink and the staff is out of this world awesome ?? we are a couple but we also noticed all the activities for families. So to sum it up I would happily return to this resort.

I am so happy that I came to your resort. I read some reviews that really made me think of not coming to Cuba which all turned out to be not true. The food, the people, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and selection at this resort is everything I wanted my vacation to be. I’m even more happy that I chose 2 weeks. Hats off to the crew at Iberostar Selection you all rock .
