Absolutely amazing gentle staff, incredible animation on the pool with the animator dancing with thr people in pure joy.This hotel is absolutely amazing.Its from 2005 yet on google it has the best rating of any hotel in all of cuba.The hotel is beautiful.The only slight problem is that one time the fish they gave me wasnt quite well cooked but thats not a big problem.I absolutely recommend this hotel!??

3rd time at this hotel and I would never go to any other!!!!! The best staff by far, we started by friend and now I can say I feel like family. So much to say but I will start with Yoanna, she work at the office, I believe Customer relations. Let me tell u, she is the major reason I keep going to this hotel. Such an amazing person, beautiful inside and out. She has made us feel so welcomed to the point that she remembers and asks abt some of my family members who did t come this last time. She goes above and beyond to make us feel at home and comfortable. Nomatter how busy she is she will always make time. Her customer service is beyond anything I would expect. She does it all with love and a huge smile. She took care of us all 3 trips and I am grateful to have met her. The staff is what makes this hotel, believe me. My 16 year old son is taken care of like he is a family member and that makes me feel great??

I am so disappointed in my second home visit from home. It was my 7 or 8 trip back . Last one was less than 11 month ago. What a change to the worst . Every thing went down hill. Food from amazing variety to very poor , you can’t even toast your bread , morning breakfast nothing other than eggs, no beacon no sausages, condiments no where to be found . Cheeses are so limited when it were 11 month ago more than 12 varieties, bread is frozen , first night my room was horrible, blood was on the bed sheet , mosquitos eat us alive , follower was so dirty , next to the kids play park where 24 hours water fall noise . Insects all over the room , air condition so noisy you could hear it from miles . My trip 11 month ago my room had North America electric plugs, this room was a room from the past century. I asked for an adapter for my CPAP machine they said we will send you one , later they said no we do not have it . However they corrected the situation by sending us to a better room. The staff are doing their best , they are short staff and when I asked what happened to the staff used to be here they said they went to a BETTER resorts and some went to Spain and the US ????? . I paid a premium to enjoy a 5 stars resort the quality this time is not even 3 stars . So so sorry I am not going back . By the way sea food was always available this time nothing nothing , what shame .

The best out of our time in Cuba, Varadero, Iberostar Selection Varadero, we could not have asked for a better esperience. Thanks to the staff and their efforts in organizing my wife birthday. We stayed in room1901,our maid was very nice. We highly recomend!!!!!!

The resort went down hell, with no maintenance, and horrible food, not as it used to be. Way overpriced Most of the staff are new, mosquitoes will eat you alive. Food variety is less than last year by 60%. You can't even toast your bread. My friend found a huge fly in her Ice Cream at the end of a meal at a Japanese restaurant. I am so sad about its Condition. The beach bar used to be open 24 hours for those who arrive late for late-night snacks, but not anymore. I feel they are winding down to close it down. Imagine basic foods for children such as French fries not available, They used to have food-tasting at the lobby and, piano playing during the early evening nothing anymore. So so so sad to say farewell to my favourite resort in Cuba.
