This is my second time at Planet Hollywood Cancun!!! We absolutely love it!!! Highly recommend!!! Victor Canto and the whole entertainment team are incredible!!!! The food was delicious and the rooms were ...nice and clean!!! Go here ASAP!!!!

I don't generally write reviews but thought I'd write this one because when I was searching I didn't read any negative reviews about this resort but we as a family of 15 didn't have a very good experience.... I have traveled to Mexico about 10 other times and have stayed at Dreams, Secrets, Royalton and would recommend all of those very much over Planet Hollywood. Don't get me wrong, the pools are very pretty, the beach is nice and the overall resort was nice. We loved the fitness center, the nightly entertainment was pretty good, especially Victor, the spa was nice and the buffet was good; however, pool and beach chairs were scarce! Be prepared to be down by the pool by 6am to even GET a chair. If you put your things on a chair and leave, security will take your items and you'll loose your chair. That was one of our biggest complaints. On other resorts I've stayed at you generally have to get down to the pool early to get a GOOD chair but on this resort it was to get ANY chair. Also we weren't aware that you had to book in advance to eat at EVERY restaurant besides the buffet. We were told you could book up to two days in advance but our app never worked so we were unable to eat at ANY of the restaurants besides the buffet in our 5 day stay, which was disappointing. I tried to get guest services to help me figure out why I was getting an error but no one could figure it out. I also didn't read anywhere before we went that 2/3 of the resort is reserved for Star Class which is an upgrade option. Again, if I would have read that in a review I would have chosen a different resort. I'm not a fan of not being able to use the whole resort. We, as non Star Class, could only use one of the three pools and had to use only one side of the beach. Lastly our room left some to be desired. When we arrived it was a bit dirty and smelled very musty so we aired it out. We got used to it during our stay but upon coming home we're having a hard time getting that musty smell out of our clothes...another problem I haven't had at other resorts I've stayed at. Again, as a family we had a great time, we got great weather, servers and wait staff were good, and we enjoyed many hours together in the sun. I just wish I would have known about the Star Class exclusions, lack of chairs, and requirement to pre-book dinner at every restaurant ahead of time and I would have definitely chosen another resort.

Great beach, great food, loved the lazy River. Fun atmosphere, great drinks. The swim out room was really nice but it smelled terribly musty. We recommend that you get a dehumidifier if you have a swim o...ut room. We highly recommend star class at this resort so that you don’t have to wait in line at any of the restaurants, and because of a few other perks. We really liked this resort, and we recommend it.

Karina from PH was great girl with many experiences in the hotel and gave us big support. FLOWRIDER was a great thing for complete family for our vacation. She speak a little bit German and teach us some S...panish. This helps for national guys and stuff.

Beds are excelent, food too- just the bussiness hours are a bit confusing at the restaurants Service was good except for some waiters, maybe more personal is extremely needed!! Entertainment crew was very... nice>> Wicho Dany Itzel and chef Alejandro thanks!!
