I was very nervous about selecting the Flamingo after reading all the bad reviews! However everything was perfectly fine. Front desk check in people were super friendly and helpful. We arrived very early but got into our room around 2. Yes, we paid an extra $20 for early checkin but it was worth it. Room was on the 28th floor and we had no problems with any of the elevators. Everything in our room worked, the bathroom had a new shower enclosure, bed was nice, the view was overlooking Bellagio and we could see the fountain show easily! I messed up the safe and someone showed up within an hour to take care of it. We would definitely stay here again. Location was great! The only thing we weren’t happy with was the high cost of everything in all of Vegas!

We've been making an annual trek to Vegas and staying at Flamingo for 30 years now. This trip was the WORST for a couple reasons. First of all we must have booked the wrong type of room because we ended up in a dirty, old room. The ones that people leave the bad reviews on that I've never understood. The first registration rep who helped us wanted to charge us $40 to check in early although it was 9 minutes before 1pm when the fee goes down to $20. So we stood for 9 minutes and got back in line. Please.... that's crazy. The next rep we got was a very snotty and not in a very good mood. That room was gross and old, busted up grout and the most disgusting phone (missing the faceplate) that I have ever seen. So we went back to the desk and got another room, after 30 years we know what we like and it's not the rooms up through the Spa Elevators. So we finally went up to our room which was way better. But unfortunately, the internet didn't work in that room. Resort fee of over $50 a day and I had to literally call their help desk every single day. Every single day... yep, every single day. Neither of us could get to the internet from the room, even with the help desk and their tickets. The solution, go to the common areas. WHAT??? Seriously you want me to go to the common areas when what I"m paying for doesn't work? They agreed to credit me $14.99 a day and ended up doing that for all 4 days. News flash....that's not compensation for me spending all that time, every single day screwing around trying to get to the internet. This may be our last stay at Flamingo. I've stayed at Aria and Park MGM other times and never any issues. Might be time for this girls trip to move venus. I"m sad writing this but the customer service was very bad...

- Long check-in. queue, - Check dummy kiosks which actually do not work but fool you to believed someone is getting your room ready. - Reception ignored, corporate credit card and forced me to pay with my personal credit card. - in 8 days stay - no hot water in the shower, I had to call 5 times for service - they lied about 50 dollar reward, which they never paid (or deducted from my final bill) - avoid avoid

I had hopes that maybe this place would be decent but I was completely wrong so I'll jump straight into it: 1. Bathroom was a disaster with rust stains, peeling paint, random hairs on the ceiling and stains of who knows what 2. One usable electric outlet in the room to charge devices 3. The room had peeling wall paper everywhere 4. Paper thin walls 5. Service people yelling down the hallway to each other in the am 6. The sportsbook, a crap location with slot machines in the middle of it 7. Overall vibe - we are cutting costs but will still charge you $12 for a beer 8. Only redeeming place was Carlos n Charlies

Very nice room, air conditioning was a bit funky and did not work great. Very nice over all. I was pleased and had a great time overall I’m very excited and hope to go back someday because I had a magical time in the birds were amazing as well thank you very much.
