Have to say, was dreading this having seen reviews recently on tripadviser but all I can say, after a 12 hour transatlantic flight, this was welcoming, kind, clean, quiet and decent place to stay. We had a FAB room, which is probably dated but that isn’t a bad thing - we were out and about we didn’t need or want sofas, carpets, fluffy gowns or slippers. What we had was clean, modern (even if not contemporary), quiet and very comfortable.

Up graded our room at check in with the wonderful Gabriela. The room was very clean with a great view over the Linq and the Sphere. Questioned what the resort fees were for. Apparently for the pools now closed, free local calls and wifi. The wifi is for 2 devices per room, if you need more is $14.99 a day. Hmmm………

The room was nice, with a great view of the High Roller and wildlife habitat. Checking in was easy enough using a kiosk. However the major issue was the shower not working on the morning of check-out. At the very least a working shower should have been provided.

I realized the FAB was the cheapest but nowhere did it say it was PET friendly. Regardless of that point, I waited an hour for a supposed email from express kiosk to come AFTER 4pm check-in time. When I went to front desk she said Ohh, you have the FAB room, that's why you didn't receive an email! Yeah, so, why isn't it ready? It highly appears the idea was to get me to upgrade $30 to get my room now. SCAM...when I refused, suddenly my FAB room was ready!? Hmmm Then I had to go back down because she gave me only 1 keycard for 2 people! (which barely worked in elevators). Then adult pool is closed and Family pool closed early at 5pm?! Never mentioned I could swim at another hotel till later. Although the location was nice - I'm Done with the Flamingo

Used to love Flamingo Las Vegas. You can’t beat the location right in the middle of strip. Recently stayed there for Halloween 2024. This property has definitely gone down hill. Checked in Tuesday afternoon, no hot water Wednesday or Thursday morning. Had to wash hair over side of tub in cold water and take sponge bath. The wallpaper in room was ripped in places and bathroom tile chipped and broken in places. Definately needed a painting job. This hotel may be next in line for demolition.
