The only negative of the entire stay (IMHO) was the lack of a beer selection. The country has a wonderful craft beer industry, but the resort only carries Imperial and Pilsen; otherwise, zero complaints. A... shout out to "Gina"; a hostess who went above and beyond at the various poolside restaurants to make sure we had an amazing dining experience.

The staff were outstanding! I would particularly like to thank David and Andrea for their undivided attention throughout our stay making sure all our needs were met. I would also like to thank Annabelle fo...r taking care of us during our daily breakfasts in the Market Cafe. She went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of. I look forward to returning to this particular Secrets resort in the future!

I stayed at Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica on April 24, 2025. While the staff was friendly and provided good service, several aspects of the resort were disappointing. There were ants in the room, which made ...the stay uncomfortable. The food wasn’t hot, lacked variety, and overall didn’t have much flavor. The beach was not welcoming—there were no chairs available, making it difficult to relax. The pool closed at 7 PM, which felt unusually early for a resort, and there was no nightlife or evening entertainment to enjoy. Additionally, the on-site store was extremely overpriced—sunblock, for example, was being sold for $46. For the cost of staying here, I expected a much higher standard in comfort, amenities, and overall experience.

This was our first trip to an all inclusive resort and it was amazing. I was nervous before the trip that I would get bored of staying at the resort. It was the exact opposite. We had so much fun. Grea...t activities and atmosphere during the day. Then there was fun shows at night. We will be planning our next trip to a Secrets resort soon.
