I have read a ton of horrible reviews. I don’t know where they came from. I’ll go in groups. Front desk: Latoya, Jaleel, nyyesha. They were amazing and friendly. Helped us out. Checked us out fast and efficiently. Great job. Lobby bar. Dr D and Gonzal. Happy, friendly and makes amazing drinks. Pool bar. I cannot say enough about these guys. Javed, Jovan, oshaine, oraine, chenslee. Amazing crew, keeps you laughing, makes the best drinks, best service and the best vibes. I will miss this crew alot. Entertainment. They did a great job entertaining us. During the day with dances, challenges and friendly games. Constantly walked around to check on people and talk. Very interactive. The night shows were amazing. They brought fun and amazing vibes to the vacation. Shout out to kk, finez, skinny, big Wayne, mickey, fresh, Tiffany, concrete and browning. You all did an amazing job keeping us busy and having fun. Food: good variety, good choices. We were here for two weeks and yes it’s repetitive but there’s enough to eat. Go to buffet and have Beven take care of you. He’s the sweetest nicest man ever. We did a private dinner on the beach. Amazing and well worth it. The food was amazing. The set up and views. Rooms: they were fine. A bit small but you Don’t spend much time in them. Clean and nothing went missing. Security : amazing. They check you in and out if you go off report. My wallet went missing. They check it through and make you check it to make sure everything was there. We had issues with ac. They came right Away. Drinks were amazing. First aid team was awesome. Damion helped my Son with a bee bite. Overall it was an amazing trip. No complaints. Thanks to all the staff at Iberostar’s waves for making our stay memorable.
Very friendly stuff at prestige club, but food choices could be better

Very friendly stuff in general and in the Prestige club (thank you Susana Nieves). Food choices could be better - especially at the buffet. Pickleball courts are relatively new and popular, but already having surfacing issue. Resort is in the nice location for morning sunrise coffee, with artificial reef - a lot of options to "find Nemo".
Beautiful hotel and 10/10 experience

Well, where do I start! Staying at this hotel was the best experience. The hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations, the hotel was really clean throughout, rooms were cleaned daily and fridge always restocked. My room had a good sized balcony and 2 big beds which were super comfy. Air con worked fine and the bathroom was big with a decent shower. The food was 5 star at this resort. It was always fresh, had different themes and varieties each night so I never got bored. Lots of fresh fish and local cuisine. All the restaurants were wicked and especially the Japanese restaurant which wad a fun experience with a comical chef making everyone laugh. The reception staff, waiting staff and bar staff were all polite, they always had a smile on their faces and seemed proud to be working for such a beautiful hotel. Apart from in the sport bar which wasn't such a positive experience, all the bar staff served you quickly and were polite and fun. In particular, a shout out to Nardia, she had so much energy and charisma, she was so fun to watch, very personable and always had a big smile on her face. Javed made the best cocktails and was always polite and professional. The entrainment team excelled in interacting with all the people staying in this hotel. They were extremely personable, funny and entertaining. The different shows each night were wicked, in particular the singers and Michael Jackson night. All in all, I had the best holiday and this was down to all the staff at this hotel and most definitely the leadership team with creating this environment and vision. It really worked and will definitely be returning. Thankyou Iberostar for such a magical holiday.
Exceeded expectations

The purpose of the trip was to visit my parents graves in Kingston. I traveled with 9 other family members and we chose all-inclusive rather than renting an expensive villa. The hotel lobby smells lovely and the hotel was immaculate with staff cleaning the common areas and grounds daily - I didn't see any rubbish during the 10 days that we stayed. The pool was great and there is also access to the beach, but beware of beach sellers selling cheap tat! (my sister and neice got caught out in the first day, but I managed to escape!) We ate mostly at Little Rivers buffet restaurant, which served authentic and delicious Jamaican food - although the fried plantain was a disappointment, as it was not ripe enough to be cooked, imo. We also ate at Olivettis (Italian), Samurai (Japanese) and Uncle Tony's (BBQ-style) - I enjoyed all of my meals. All the staff were pleasant and approachable and the bars served name-brand alcohol, not local stuff. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Montego Bay. The only downside is that there is no room service - I was unwell one day, so missed dinner and couldn't get any food delivered to the room, so my sister had to bring me something from the buffet. There are no tea-making facilities in the rooms, and being from the UK, we generally can't function without a daily cuppa! It's for these two reasons that I haven't given the hotel 5 stars.
