Worth the experience

This hotel has a lot of pro's. The cleaning staff was good, we were there for a week in Building 4200 and only had the cleaning lady in for two days (by our choice). The ladies we had were super kind and p...rovided us water bottles every day. Our room 4215 was considered ocean view? I do not feel this is ocean view but it was a corner room and in a quiet area. The food - buffet was very good. Breakfast was consistent... I would prefer to have a coffee table and just grab my own cup as it was hit and miss on refills. The three a la carte restaurants are a nice touch. The reservation system was pretty good - there was one reservation that we made and it switched the date on us.... Having the person at the desk to make reservations as well is a nice touch, not all of us have a Mexican phone plan. Viva Mexico - was excellent service and food was good. Very fun environment. We did have Mexican night at the buffet which was comparable food. La Vela - best location as we were seated on the water. The food was good and service was average. I had a chicken dish. Melt - the food was excellent... if you like fish. The menu is limited. It was good for us but wouldn't recommend for children - its a tight small room. The entertainment was good. This is so hard as it's a family resort / yet lots of adult groups and I feel the entertainment staff did well accommodating this. It's been awhile since I was at an all inclusive and I forgot about the parents who leave their children with the staff to be taken care ALL day long. The 'young' kids room was closed. We went to the nightly entertainment - lots of work was put into these shows. We did bingo one day. We went to the 'disco' one night. It was really quiet, however the bathroom was disgusting - left and didn't return. The beach area is cleaned daily. The lifeguard on duty are there to watch and did a wonderful job (very wavy/windy during our stay). The beach loungers are a necessity, hopefully the broken ones get fixes or replaced. It was not a busy week, so it was not a problem for us this holiday. The staff at the resort are all good - they do their job, and some go above... A shout out to Albert and Raul as they were always cheerful and kind. Overall, this was a great get away.... thank you to Viva Tangerine Wyndham to provide an affordable holiday!

It was good. Two weeks was a little much. Food was good. lousy room 1st night but they straightened that out next day. Very late arrival*. Clean, good price, the atmosphere was good, I’d not stay here aga...in, probably because I’ll never go back to DR. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Excursions and food 10/10

Bed was soft, pillows were kind of flat, room service was amazing, food was amazing every day, drinks kept flowing (kind of skimped on the alcohol but not complaining because drunk people are annoying). Th...e animation team was friendly, very competitive. The excursions were awesome. Recommend the paradise island and waterfall tour.
All around good experience and would visit again.

The service was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming! The location was about an hour to 2 hours from everything. The value was great for the amount of food and drinks we got. Everything was fairly clean.... The amenities were good as well. There were lots of activities to do for everyone of all ages. The rooms were fine.
