Booked a 5 day last minute ‘need to get out of SK winter’ holiday. Room was clean enough. Bed and pillows were comfy. Food was terrible - and we aren’t picky. They are under construction- we heard they are... the tearing whole thing down?- so that might have something to do with it? Not really well maintained at all. Activity pool - nowhere near the kids pool with the water slide - was so loud headphones couldn’t block it out. Beach was fine but vendors start at 8am and come every 30 seconds - not even exaggerating. Loungers and tables were dirty even at 8am but getting a spot wasn’t an issue. Only 1 buffet open for all meals. No snack bar. Two days before we left about 200 people showed up - all Mexican?- and the staff seamed to cater to them instead of the other guests. Maid service wasn’t until 5pm and even tho we left a tip every day we didn’t ever get the 2 bottled water we were told we would. No pop either. Fridge wasn’t even plugged in. We asked one lady in the hall once and she gave us one bottle. Had to walk to the store and buy our own. Wifi was also terrible. We’ve been going to AI’s for 15 years and this was probably our worst experience. Glad we got away in the end but won’t go back.

Booked this hotel through Expedia, which rated it 4 stars, but in reality, it’s a 2.5-star property at best—and that’s being generous. Upon arrival, the first issue was a blood spot on the bed cover, whic...h is completely unacceptable. Out first toom had broken toulet paper holder, was one double bed when we booked 2 beds in the room , then in the second room. The linen was dirty and sand in the room with a broken mirror in the bathroom and we had no choice but to pay 180 USD for a room upgrade and Thar room itself was in poor condition, with a glass shower door barely hanging onto the wall and broken tiles throughout. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee provided, which felt like a pointless amenity. The noise levels were unbearable. If your room faces the courtyard, be prepared for loud music until midnight. Even in our ocean-view room, we could still hear it. The "ocean view" itself was mostly blocked by construction, and construction noise started at 7 AM and lasted until 7 PM—not exactly the relaxing beachside experience we were expecting. The food was extremely poor, and cleanliness was a major concern, especially at the bars. Plastic cups were not properly washed—just rinsed with water and reused for other guests. At one point, when they ran out of cups, staff went to the beach, grabbed used cups, rinsed them with water, and started serving drinks again. Overall, this hotel is far from a 4-star experience. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

The beach was nice, big waves but very nice view and big beach sand area. The pillows were not too good. The food is always the same and not a lot of options. I give the food 3 of 10. Entertainment was ok,... they should have change the games/activities every other day and add some dance classes by the beach, limbo…The entertainment group were very nice. The Expedia people were nice too. The pool were nice as well. I probably won’t stay there again because of the food.

I came back from my Puerto Vallarta, Mexico trip last night 3/19/25 and I was very disappointed to pay $840 for 4 night king size bed, ocean front room All inclusive and get only half of the service. Half ...of the ocean view hotel is under construction so the pools are ugly, your restaurants have no sea view due to the construction. I would have paid half price for a different hotel but I paid more for the beach view. The food is not the best, lunch is poor quality food, dinner and breakfast are much better. I did not get my king size bed, they put me in a different room because they were full. I learned that Mexicans pay 3-5 times less than tourist. My friends from Guadalajara paid $5,000 Mexican pesos and I paid $16,700 pesos for the same crappie service/stay. I also paid for beach front and was put in the building in the back with sea view but it was not the same. When it was time to check out, they did not let me grab lunch at noon since I did not want breakfast. I paid a super high price and they did not let me eat lunch. Disgusting. I had to take 3 Ubers in order to have lunch in downtown, spent extra money and I almost lost my plane. Krystal Cancun Hotel are the best, they allow me to eat that and more on the day you check out. DO NOT GO to this Hotel right now is really bad, the water is soo cold and the ocean is very wild, you cannot swim. Maybe later it will be good but not right now.

Needs renovation. Room was big but sparse. Bed was worn out. Stains all over room chair. There is a small pool that is less busy and nicer than bigger pool. Beach area had plenty of chairs. Drinks were in ...inexpensive at beach bar. This hotel doesn't rate a 4 star. I would rate it 2 stars.
