Ian at the paddle and kayak rental area was absolutely fantastic. He was so enthusiastic and polite and helpful we loved speaking with him. He is clearly someone who loves what he does he made our experie...nce! He was quick to realize we knew how to paddle board and gave us good tips on where to go and watched for our turn to be next.

We are happy to be back at the Villa del Palmar resort in Puerto Vallarta. The property is well maintained and the staff are great! Friendly, efficient, professional and incredibly helpful. There are ...a few changes from our last stay that are very welcome. Poolside and main areas no longer have loud music playing (day or night). This makes for a much calmer and more pleasant atmosphere. The special events in the evening no longer involve buffets that require extra payments. They are open for everyone to enjoy! We are told that there are steps being taken to modernize the property and we will definitely be coming back!

Great experience at Villa del Palmar. After a small mishap during breakfast, Chef Carlos and Chef Christian offered a special dinner for me and my wife. We arrived at 6pm and we received a warm welcome a...s usual at the Italian restaurant. After being sited, the chefs brought several delicious courses for our delight, all of them beautifully prepared, presented and mouthwatering delicious. I would also like to mention the great service provided by his staff, Rubi, Ricardo, Emiliano, Ernesto and Pati. Although, I can’t recall the names of the bartenders at the Patron restaurant, I do however want to say they are experts in the art of mixology.

The beds are super comfy, the pillows are too small. Housekeeping in our room wasn’t the best. We had to ask for towels, cloths etc., several times. Air conditioner worked well! Food was okay, breakfa...st was my favourite at the omelette station, great pastries, breads, sweets and local cuisine. Only 85 peso to the Malacon from the resort and 120 peso to get back. There were lots of young babies and kiddos, maybe not the place for you if you can’t handle the screaming and rowdiness. The staff is sensational!!
