AMAZING WEDDING!

I'm very late writing this review but better late than never. We held our wedding there October 25th - 27th (2024). It was everything we hoped it would be. We had 40 guests, and they are still talking ...about the wedding, resort and the service. The service is impeccable; everyone goes out of their way to help and to cater to your every need and they think of everything to make your stay a pleasant experience. I had my own wedding planner, but I can't say enough good things about the resort wedding coordinator Fernanda. She is by far one of the main reasons the wedding was so fabulous and went so smoothly. She was attentive, accommodating, she answered all of my questions, solved any issue(s) I had and was always courteous and professional. Leading up to the wedding date, I was emailing her constantly and she responded quickly to me and to my planner. When we visited in June to finalize everything before the big day, they rolled out the red carpet for us. They had everything planned and everything was stress free. This is really a beautiful place to have your wedding, it's an all-inclusive resort and everything is top shelf. The food was excellent; the portions and presentations were on point and the drink selections were endless. The rooms are all suits and are huge with a big tub, they think of every kind of amenity for the room. We were welcomed by a bottle of sparkling wine and truffles and a chocolate picture and frame of my husband and me. The resort is a little pricey, but well worth every penny. My only advice for anyone thinking about having your wedding there, get the audio and lighting quote up front. It's set up that you basically have to use their audio lighting team, if you bring your own there are vendor fees and all kinds of fees. I don't think they work for the resort but are contracted with the resort. The bottom line is, you are stuck with whatever they charge you, and I have to say we were shocked at the price (and I live in New York City, so prices don't normally shock me). I probably would have canceled if I could have but of course I'm glad I didn't. Fernanda really helped in that situation; because of her efforts, we were able to work something out, and I am forever grateful to her. As I said in an earlier review, she is a tremendous asset to the resort (give her a promotion). In spite of the sudden rainstorm towards the end of the wedding, (see pictures) which only made the day even more special, it was an amazing experience. I am so happy we picked this resort to have our wedding. If you are thinking about visiting or having your wedding there, I highly recommend it!
Much needed, top-notch relaxing vacation

We stayed on the Ambassador section and our stay was outstanding from start to finish. We used the hotel transport and the transfer was seamless although the car seat was not the appropriate size for my 7 ...month old - they gave me a front-facing toddler seat. I know car seat rules and standards are much more lax in Mexico. It was the same on the journey back to the airport Upon checking in every was amazing. The room was beautiful, had a great view of the pool and was immaculate. I's heard great things about the food and it did not disappoint. The dinner restaurants were each awesome. My husband and I each had different favorites. Every person was super attentive and where our baby was welcome, they treated him with so much kindness. Azul had some great options as well. We thought room service was ok. Th baby concierge made everything seamless for our 7-month old. We had all the extra stuff that would have been difficult to pack. It made the trip much more enjoyable. Paola, the nanny from the service was great with my baby. He was delighted every time he saw her. The pool was absolutely amazing. Not crowded when we went, always pm found a chair and the a poolside servers were very attentive. They always ensured we were comfortable and were full on drinks and foods. The pool itself was gorgeous and who can beat the cute little kid's cabanas. As others have stated, the beach isn't swimmable but that was ok with us. We just wanted to do our toes in the water and hang out on the chairs. Last, but not least, our concierge Jose Juan was outstanding. He had everything we ever needed taken care of for us. He even helped us gather a little basket of beach toys for our baby and got him an extra teething toy since he saw that he liked the one he had so much. He put in the extra effort to check in with us and make sure we were taken care of without being intrusive.
