Very good, but not great

We were very pleased with our 18th floor room, which offered us a great view of the American side of the Falls and was well-furnished. Beds were comfortable and the room and the entire floor were very quiet. Skip the hotel's restaurants (separate reviews from me on both of them), which were over-priced and didn't deliver quality food. We attempted to make a spa appointment but no one at the spa picked up the phone when we called. We reached out to Guest Services, which promised to leave a message with the staff at the spa to call us back. That call never came to our room. Instead, when we returned home, we found a message on our home phone asking us to call back to book an appointment. A rather dumb error to make for a hotel that supposedly offers superior service.

The hotel was really nice. I would really give it 4.5 stars. The elevator set-up is terrible. We were on the second floor, and it was difficult to access the stairs. The stairs from the second floor led to the outside, and there was no way to just stop on the first floor/lobby without getting on the elevators. Of course, you would wait forever for an elevator only for just one floor. The location and the views were excellent.
