First of many annual trips

I booked last minute via Virgin and will definitely be returning next year. The customer service was 10/10 throughout the stay. Special thanks to the following staff members: Jace Ann, Duyuana, Kemani, Valda, Isha, Kandice, Ella, Nadia and Miss Shelly/Sherri Daley! Full vibe team were really good as well, props to them for the never ending energy and enthusiasm. They really seem to enjoy their jobs and that was nice to see. Only real criticism was the smell of the room - very musty/damp smell, but we sorted this out by turning off the air con and leaving the balcony door open. Also wasn’t able to dine at the Italian restaurant as it was closed despite being available to book via the app. The beach was lovely and clean, excursions via the hotel are reasonably priced as were the shuttles to and from town. Shirley Heights is the place to visit on the Sunday, unbelievable views and great entertainment - take cash.

My self and my husband were given this holiday as a treat and after looking after my mum who recently died on our arrival there was no taxi transfer which was included in the price so we had to pay for a taxi ourselves after getting to our room we went to the sports bar my husband wanted a beer we were told that they had ran out we could not get into any of of the resturants the following night as they were fully booked and we had to book our reservations on the app for the restaurants service was extremely slow and some meals were not available as they had run out we were in the diamond club waiter service on the beach most of the time they were no where to be seen staff were very miserable thete was a beach towell hut most of the time there was no service the towells would arrive in laundry bags and guests were handing out towells to other guests pool food bar ran out of food eventually the girl serving there went over to the other side of the hotel to go and get them so it was an hours wait before you could get any food we had to go to the bar to get out own drinks as no waiter service on the beach during the last few days we put the label out for our room to be cleaned it was but when we went to bed that night our sheets had not been changed so had to sleep in the dirty sheets snack bar came round ran out of pringles and then the following night ran out of m and M so had to go to the hotel shop and buy these items at a high price we were then informed not to go on the jet skis as the life boat was broken and on our last day both pool bars had ran out of bottled water food was served cold by the time you got it breakfast had ran out of poached eggs amd when asked politely for poached eggs the girl walked away from her station and never came back thankfully the girl on the omelette station came to do my poached eggs but yet another long wait asked the waitress for extra napkins who had a pile in her hand she walked away and would not give me any and never came back to me on the day of leaving we were given a courtesy room where we could shower and change for our return flight home unfortunately when we got there no towells so had to wait they came back with towells but no hairdryer available so had to ask for one they went away and brought one to the courtesy room another long wait this hotel was the royalton antigua all inclusive and extra money was paid for us to stay in the diamond club we came away hungry staff were miserable I asked for a extra room spray only to be told you could only have one on your arrival as the room was getting smelly from the drainage in the bathroom this hotel I would advise to stay away
