I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, easy walking distance to the town centre, beautifully appointed rooms, great amenities including a luxurious house coat, a very comfortable bed ...and amazing views of the Rockies. Our room had a small balcony that was perfect to enjoy our morning coffee on. I really appreciated the kettle and variety of tea in addition to the wonderful Nespresso coffee options. The small bar fridge was useful during our stay. The lounge has cozy booths, a great food and beverage menu with happy hour pricing as an added bonus. The outdoor pools, hot tubs and fire pits were a huge hit. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Definitely the place to stay in Canmore.

The Malcolm is our favourite hotel in the area and our go-to for family weekends in Canmore. The hotel is modern, clean, conveniently located, has good amenities (2 hot tubs, pool, gym) and as a plus - sme...lls great when you walk into the lobby. ?? But what sets this hotel apart is the service of the staff. Two staff members who have especially stood out are Lindsay and Emma at the front desk - they are always smiling and friendly no matter how busy the hotel is or what time of day it is. I especially want to give a gold star to Lindsay for her exceptional service during one of our stays a month ago - I had made a mistake w the dates of our stay upon booking and when we arrived at the hotel not only did Lindsay work to accommodate us last minute for that weekend, but she also honoured the rate that I had booked (for the wrong dates)….and THEN expedited having our room ready for us when she found out we had an immediate dinner reservation. I travel extensively for business and I can confidently say that scenario would have played out much differently had this been a different hotel or staff member (ie. “oh man we only have one room left… but the price is quadrupled and we wont have it cleaned for you for 3hrs”) You can tell that Lindsay knows that great customer service is better for the bottom line of a hotel - because of her actions we returned 2 more times in the last month and also have referred numerous friends to the hotel. Side note - make sure you stop for a coffee at their coffee shop (The Pulse) - great coffee and snacks… and their staff equally as hospitable. Thanks Lindsay, Emma and The Malcolm!!

The Malcolm is such a well located hotel in the heart of Canmore, with excellent facilities and access. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the mountains - restaurant and coffee sh...op on site are both excellent quality as well.

The staff are impeccable! They do everything they can to make your stay great. Everything is clean, replenished and service with a smile. The bar staff really create a fantastic vibe with people. We watch...ed two weddings happen there during our stay and those pictures looked incredible! Once again, the staff ran around to ensure that all needs were met. They must really focus on hiring a certain type of person and training them well. We will definitely stay again.

My family and I had an incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The kids loved the playroom—it quickly became their favorite spot. The hot tub was a perfect way to rel...ax, and the breathtaking room view made our experience even more special.
