It's a beautiful resort and the location is perfect. Beach is always very important and this one was 100% . Soft white sand which was great for those long walks. Ocean had waves and no seaweed when we stayed here. Our room was amazing as we had category with rooftop plunge pool. It's definitely great for those romantic trips. Lots of loungers and Bali beds. Around the pool area, the servers did remove towels that were just left to hold spots. I saw it many times so loungers can't stay unattended for too long. We have traveled to so many resorts over my 27 year marriage and this was the first time I didn't rush out to get a place by the pool or the beach. They had a wedding everyday with 2 on some days. They have so many beautiful spots to have the ceremony. My wife was always happy to see everyone dressed up. Excellent place to stay and enjoy a vacation.

Majestic Elegance was a beautiful resort with a great balance of beautiful beach and nice pools. You could partake in fun activities or find a quiet spot to relax. Even when the resort was full, you could find beach chairs and staff to wait on you. Be sure to bring tip money for these folks. They work very hard to attend to their guests. Our room was very comfortable. Our butler, Tete, was incredible with making reservations for restaurants and spa where we loved the hydrotherapy. She was so attentive and helpful! The Queen & Michael Jackson tributes were great while the silent disco was really fun! The gatherings in the Plaza were always fun. We enjoyed the steakhouse, teppinyaki and Italian restaurants. The Mar House lunch was good but we found their dinner to not be as good. The steak is good everywhere! Flavors is ok. Room service breakfast is nice too. In our experience the restaurants were better than the buffets, unless you are lucky enough to get the elegant buffet at a wedding. This was very, very good! Our week was lovely,

It has been awhile since we have given an all inclusive a try as we were tired of mediocre food and playing the towel on the chair at the crack of dawn game, but thankfully Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres had neither of these things! The #1 thing that makes this resort special is the staff, always smiling and ready to help. We were in the club section, so had a butler but our only interaction with him was at check in, so I can’t speak to the service of the butlers. Restaurants are great and only 2 require a reservation which was made for us at check in. The Halloween and Day of the Dead celebrations exceeded anything we have ever seen at an AI resort. The landscape is so well cared for and adds to the ambience of the resort. My only criticism is of the two gift shops at the resort, the prices are ridiculous- a bag of Lays chips for $15.99 USD and pool blow ups that are only slightly better quality than $ Store variety for $30 USD. Not sure what is with the prices, but in 8 days at the resort I never saw anyone make a purchase. Aside from the store, I highly recommend this resort.

The Kids club was fantastic! My son is 11 and never wants to participate in a kids club and he absolutely loved it. Diana and Alondra made him feel so special and they always tried to include them in any event that was happening each day. He brought home many crafts and loved the horse riding on the beach. I would definitely go to this property again because he had such a great time. I also need to give a BIG THANK you to Esther at the lively pool Bar. She is just the sweetest and most pleasant person. She always greeted us with a smile. She made such a positive impact on our vacation. Esther, Diana and Alondra are very special and I hope that the hotel shares the kudos with them. We will definitely be going back to this property.

We had an amazing and relaxing time! After our easy check-in to our adults-only "club" experience complete with a room upgrade to a private plunge pool room, we were given a tour of the property by our butler Annie, who remained available our entire stay, helping us with reservations for meals and the spa as well as answering other logistic questions. The spa! We spent an hour in the hydrotherapy experience being guided between the sauna and steam rooms and cold and hot showers and jacuzzis and plunge pools before getting massages in the artificial yet beautiful cave room. The restaurants were fine, but we also took breakfasts and some lunches in our room. There were plenty of activities going on, but we preferred to stay in our beautiful room with its upstairs private pool, deck, and seating area. We will happily return!
