To quiet for my liking

To quiet for my liking but the staff was great, made good friends with more then a handful of them. Lalo,Manuel, Noel, Karla, LILLY and plenty more all in all was a good trip………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Segregation

Segregation. If you're not a time share owner, or whichever term is used these days, be prepared for segregation. Separate coloured towels, separate bar, lounge, restaurant. They have a wonderful gala celebration with outdoor dining and music but ONLY for VIP guests. It doesn't make you feel like a welcome guest. The resort is decent, but does need repairs in various areas. The restaurants are limited. They seem to alternate the Mexican and Italian opening days, which only leaves the Japanese or buffet. Service in the restaurants is good. Food okay. We won't be going back to this resort or any other Solaris.
I’m so disappointed. My husband planned my 60th birthday here and we along with 8 other people checked in.

We are owners….haven’t been here in 3-4years…So so disappointed. I don’t even want to stay. I’m actually feeling a bit embarrassed that I spoke so highly of this place and it’s just not maintained well. We definitely will not come back to this place again. Hoping to make the best of it
Very poor guest services all around, with nice but untrained new staff. I wouldn't advise this hotel to new guests

The guest services were poor and very limited in scope due to a downsizing in staff and brand new staff aboard without training. Lunch services in the popular "Rosamarinos restaurant" were closed, they said due to "it was too hot"- but it was not too hot to us and had a cool breeze all day. We booked a special Sunset Cruz on Friday night and arrived in the lobby at 3:30 as directed to get our transportation. There were at least 200 other people in the small lobby and it was completely chaotic with no one visible in charge to help us line up to get on the correct bus. When we finally got to the marina to pick up our boat we were the last to go board and it was overbooked requiring several to stand up to eat or sit on a bench with food on their lap (no tables). One morning they had a staff event on the beach 100 yards away from our ocean front rooms - the event was a staff 10K run beginning at 6am with a loud microphone, blairing music and instructions to the runners to hype them up. It went on for 2 hours and when they left there plastic balloon debris left on the beach. The food selection in 3 of the 4 restaurants was limited in access, choices of menus and quality. When I completed their satisfaction survey (which was poor) i was not allowed to comment why I was unhappy to help them improve. I have been a member of this all inclusive club for 25 years and have never, until now, had such a poor experience. I guess it is because they have a new management company who has bought the hotel, fired many "old time staff" and brought in new, untrained staff in all areas of the hotel.
Disappointed. Have had better experiences in past visits at Club Solaris Cabo.

Isidro from Marco Polo restaurant was great. Edwardo from the pool area went above and beyond everyday. He is the greatest. We had issues from checkin, getting the room type reserved, air conditioning not working, issues with plumping and timeliness in getting issues resolved. Didn’t restock the fridge the whole time there. Communication between the different departments needs improvement.
