Overall it was great..but

Azul Resort was pretty amazing. The food, the beach, the drinks. Azul could improve their dining experience by friendlier wait staff and the rooms with swim up pools, keeping the pools clean. Our pool was ...cloudy and algae was growing on the light..
Jamming in Jamaica ????

Had a great holiday recently at the Azul Resort! Beautiful people and always happy! The coffee bar at the lobby was amazing and the food was great, always lots to choose from! Our rooms were nice and well ...stocked, and spacious and we were in the quiet block, cannot say enough about the beautiful beach everyday and the evening sunsets were breathtaking ?? the entertainment staff including Tio, Keke, TT and JJ were amazing! I would highly recommend a snorkeling trip and a visit to Ricks Cafe, it was really jamming there! if the hotel can maybe provide more running/ wash stations to wash your feet after coming off the beach that would be helpful, and maybe have entertainment longer in the evenings, also very safe place to walk the beaches! Plan to go back next year ???? ya mon and peace and love ??
Amazing Beach! Incredible People!

My wife and I recently stayed at Azul Beach Resort and loved the experience! The beach was amazing, and the people were incredible! Specifically, every single member of the staff we encountered went the ...extra mile to ensure we made the most of the experience! Our housekeeper Angie was meticulous and the room was super clean! Our beach person Lucian went to great extents to provide us with extra towels and ensure we had what we needed! Don't get me wrong, it's not a perfect experience, but I do not think this should be expected. Azul is an all inclusive resort, so the food is not going to be the quality of a five star restaurant. They don't have an abundance of beach chairs or towels, but if you plan for this ahead of time, this resort offers perhaps the finest quality, modern room you can find directly on Seven Mile Beach and direct access to the beach 50 feet from your building, which were the primary goals of our vacation! There's also fun entertainment activities, a taxi service if you need it to get around, and a top notch security team!
Awesome but lack of beach chairs

So I'm currently here at Azul, and read the review of Alison M. I will provide a more in depth review in the following days but im sorry, she's completely out to lunch. It's a great resort. Food, staff,... rooms etc. One thing, lack of beach chairs (yes management, you know there is an issue, please fix this). Review TBC.. Cheers
Inconsistant and not worth the extra cost

While there are numerous other resorts in Negril that offer more value at a lower cost than Azul, my experience fell short of expectations. I have previously stayed at both the Royalton and Riu resorts in ...Negril, where the quality of service, food, and overall consistency of offerings were notably superior to what was provided at Azul. While the food was acceptable, it did not meet the standards one might expect given the price point. The overall quality, from the food to the drinks, seemed lacking in attention and care. The drinks, while adequate, did not meet expectations for a resort of this caliber. If you’re seeking well-crafted cocktails—such as an Aperol spritz with orange, a mojito with fresh mint, or a Corona with lime—this is not the place for you, as these basics were not consistently available. Additionally, the condition of the rooms and bathrooms left much to be desired. Several rooms we visited were showing signs of wear and tear, including broken shower heads and faulty patio door locks. Some doors were even being held together with a single screw. In our room, the TV had a blown speaker, making it difficult to hear clearly, which was frustrating when trying to unwind with a late-night show. Although reservations were offered, they were not always honored. For example, arriving at 6:55 PM for a 7:00 PM reservation often meant waiting an additional 45 minutes as other guests without reservations were seated first. This raised questions about the point of having a reservation system if tables aren’t held for those who have pre-booked. Turn-down service, which was advertised as part of the experience, was inconsistent. On some days, it was performed, while on others, it was missed entirely. That said, we did have a standout experience thanks to our concierge, Dwayne, whose dedication and hard work greatly contributed to our enjoyment. The coffee stations were also a highlight, and the staff running them in the heat were exceptionally accommodating and provided excellent service. As always, Negril’s beach remains unparalleled, offering some of the best views in the Caribbean. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards I had come to expect from an Azul resort.
