The resort lacks lunch options and does not yield the same experience as other resorts in the area such as Baha Mar. It is in need of a refresh. The resorts pool is limited outside of the waterpark. Would not recommend this resort due to elements noted above.

Great vacation of rest and relaxation. Treated like VIP in a huge suite. Had a nice long massage with the use of a dry body brush. Never had that before. The food was delicious and the Casino didn’t smell like smoke. I was a big winner and all was a great celebration for my birthday!

We did a short weekend for our son’s 16th birthday. We stayed at the Royal in a two bedroom Royal suite. If you have the means..book this room. 14-595 and 14-597 of the west tower. It was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone and more especially that shower!!! We had placed a precious order with the hotel to deliver cupcakes cookies and milk to our son at a specific time. They were right there when they said they would be. We had an issue with the main bathroom as it never flushed when we first arrived. They sent someone right away and then the front desk called us later to see that everything was completed to our liking. They also called to check if we loved our room. Plenty of restaurants. Food was delicious. We dined off property and used the shuttle that brings you to Dune at the four seasons. So beautiful. The beach was beautiful, the grounds are kept impeccable, the water rides are so fun and the beach was nice. I feel like they could fix up the beach area in front of the royal and put out nicer chairs with a wait staff for the people to utilize that area more. The staff was very helpful and kind. It was my first time on the leap of faith and one woman was at the top convincing me it was ok and then at the bottom when i got out to check on me. So nice!! We also did the dolphin cay experience. Yes it is pricy and the dolphins are in excellent care but i just wish the session was a bit longer than 30 minutes. Other than that we had a wonderful quick stay in a beautiful island. Thank you Atlantis for making my son and our family’s trip memorable.

The room was beautiful as we were upgraded to a very nice view. Service was also on par with the level this hotel was placed in. Nothing outstanding but a nice stay. The only disappoint were the 3 restaurants, Seafire, Paranza and Fish where the food was either cold or lukewarm. Service at the restaurants were wonderful but food should not only taste good but it should at least be hot. The biggest disappointment was the Mandara Spa - where the facilities were somewhat dated, the whirlpool was lukewarm and jets not working. Water from the shower was cold. Nothing like taking a cold shower after a treatment when you actually don't want to take a cold shower. Absolutely not acceptable for the Brand nor the price I paid for the treatment.

Non stop construction in the adjoining rooms and the front desk could care less. Very loud, not a relaxing resort experience as well. Spoke to front desk and they did not offer any options or relief. Not sure why they did not close the whole hallway when half the rooms were under construction, other than greed.
