Great staff & service. Very clean, great beds, amazing location in the thick of Times Square (tho very quiet in my room). Loved the Grab & Go breakfast, easy and sufficient. Iconic, art deco at its finest.... Did I mention, excellent service & staff.

This is a very elegant hotel from the Grand Days of New York (1930's) but also a very comfortable contemporary experience. I pulled a "Goldilocks" at the reception desk. My room was small and faced an airs...haft, I was given a 2nd choice that had a spectacular view but was located right behind the bank of elevators and with all the bumps and grind sounds that I knew would bother me. But the 3rd room was "just right" and more importantly the staff were responsive, uncritical, and most importantly accommodating. There's 2 restaurants in the hotel and one provides the free "grab and go" breakfast, which is more than adequate and you don't even have to "go" but can eat right there. I also had 2 evening meals in one of them "Friedmans" and being alone, sat at the bar where the bartenders were very attentive and friendly while strolling singers belted out Broadway songs - as good as you'd get on the stage. My room was elegant too and more importantly quiet. I divide hotel experiences into 2 categories: "door-slamming" ones and "non-doo-slamming ones and the Edison is the latter.

Great location, clean room, friendly staff. We enjoyed the “extras,” grab and go breakfast that you can eat at a table in the restaurant, Friday happy hour. Technically, you pay for these in the “facilit...ies charge.” I do find it annoying that most hotels have this extra fee now. We would stay again.

The Hotel Edison is wonderful! Not only is it ideally located near all things Broadway, but it has two restaurants and the Rum Bar with live music nightly, and a relationship with Carve deli down the stre...et that makes it convenient to eat, drink and enjoy NYC. This is a well-staffed hotel that cares about the little things---like umbrellas and robes in the closet, breakfast discount coupons, two luggage racks in the room. And employees like Antonio, Sylvia and Hanmei made our visit incredibly special by taking care of our requests with big smiles and hearts. A great choice for our visit to NYC!

Blood on my sheets requested a new set not sure why that was not checked before my arrival . I was able to speak to someone it was removed but still upsetting . Hbhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhbhhhhhhhhhhhbb...bbbbhhhhbbbbbbbhhhhhhhhhhbbbbbbb
