This was our second stay at the Edison. We had enjoyed our first visit so much that we didn’t encounter any difficulties, but this time something unusual happened. After a long flight, we arrived late in the evening, and when we checked in, I asked the receptionist to send someone to our room to assist with our luggage. The receptionist was kind, and the check-in process went smoothly. However, when the staff member arrived to deliver our luggage, he stood by the door and informed me that it was not part of the service to bring guests' luggage to their rooms. I was quite surprised and annoyed, as it seemed he was expecting a tip. His communication was completely unacceptable, especially considering that the Edison is a renowned hotel and we had stayed there the previous year. On a positive note, the overall service remained commendable, and the checkout process was quick. However, a little renovation is still needed to keep this hotel up to standard.

Staff that always treated us with respect and cheer at any request. The housekeeping was perfect. We were grateful for the tight security with showing off door keys before using elevators. We love the location.. half a block to the TKTS booth and most theaters no more than 6-7 blocks away! No subways, no cabs. A nice healthy walk. The Art Deco Edison a pure joy, shining bright and welcoming!! I’m 92, hope to be there after my 93rd birthday. It’s my favorite.

We were there as part of a community based travel group of 50 from Ohio_- choice of accommodations was made for us .... But it was a great trip - delicious breakfast at Friendmans( we did not have an option to grab and go or get breakfast from carve- but I wish we did . Friendly staff - top notch security - courteous and helpful housekeeping attendants - we hope to be back!!

This past May I stayed at Hotel Edison to visit family in NYC, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience!…as always! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Times Square, making it easy to explore the city’s iconic attractions, theaters, and restaurants. Also the access to all the major subways is a huge plus! Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel felt like a calm and welcoming retreat after a day of running around the city. The hospitality at Hotel Edison truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, Rommel Gopez and his staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The front desk team was friendly, efficient, and always willing to help with any questions. Everyone I interacted with—from housekeeping to the bellhop—was courteous and accommodating. They clearly take pride in their work and prioritize guest comfort, which made the trip that much more enjoyable! Looking forward to returning on my next trip to NYC!

What a great hotel! We had an amazing time in NYC seeing the Rockettes and getting amazing Food! The hotel was immaculate and the staff was so nice and accommodating. They have 3 restaurants connected as well. Would definitely stay again here!
