Booked for my birthday weekend, the hotel oversold and didn’t have a room, it was a holiday weekend and the manager Ari did not put any effort into making this correct. They could have easily found another... location in the neighborhood so we did not miss my birthday dinner.

Beware! Stays at this property are advertised at one price, but when you arrive the price goes up $100 because ownership just changed. Also, the amenities show a flat screen tv in each room (what hotel do...esn't have one in every room?). There is a flat screen tv alright, but the only thing it connects to is your private Netflix account. No cable or reasonable facsimile thereof? Shameful!

Friendly staff, and decent location in midtown East. There are the only good things I can say about this place. One lift was broken down which meant that two lifts serviced all 17 floors, plus all the dome...stic staff. It took 15 to 20 minutes to leave the building some days. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room, TV only works if you supply own Netflix, only drinking water available was in the hotel fitness Centre, 14 floors below my room, no “do not disturb” sign for the room door, so housekeeping constantly trying to get in. Also the Room had torn grimy net curtains, chipped and scuffed surfaces, a very basic bathroom where my shower broke twice in one week, and the end of my bed collapsed if you sat on it. My room was right across from the elevator so very noisy late at night and early in the morning. There’s no lounge or bar or any kind of catering on the premises. The whole place has a feeling that it’s winding down to closure, but I don’t know if that’s true. It describes itself with a four star hotel, but it’s barely a two - it nearly ruined my week in New York.

We had a great experience with our booking and using the complimentary concierge service they provided. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the rooms were a bit tight (photos online didn't l...ook so small) and the mattresses could have been a bit better, but the staff were excellent and the concierge service of putting together our itinerary and booking dinner reservations was a HUGE help!

This hotel was nice, clean, and centrally located. The reviews scared me but I was pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff was accommodating and courteous. We were on the 12th floor with a great view. T...he beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some repair. For example, our door latch was broken. The TV only shows Netflix and YouTube. To get to them you have to read the instructions, you can’t just push Netflix in the remote. Weird. There is no hotel restaurant or bar. But there are plenty of restaurants all around. They held a deposit on my card but it seems to already be released and we just checked out yesterday. So, don’t believe the hype. It’s a decent hotel. Check it out for yourself.
