The staff was excellent!! Our room was nice. The Concierges: Erin and Gordie were great. It was my birthday and my 35th wedding anniversary. A birthday cake and wine were in the room decorated by Erin. I...t was nice. Gorgie was both pleasant and well-informed. Also, he surprised me with a birthday cake and had the staff sing to me,which I appreciated. The professionalism and hospitality were superb. My husband said Gordie treated us like family. My husband and I will definitely stay again. Its our home away from home. Excellent job Renaissance!!

No complaints about the hotel itself …room was fine, nice location in town, great breakfast buffet. But a big “but”..,.the parking situation. $35/night ($25/night if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member) ext...ra, in addition to the room rate. And with that charge comes a terrible parking lot configuration. They blocked the ends of every parking aisle in order to force traffic out of one exit point with a non-functioning payment booth. As a result…if you drive down a row looking for a parking spot and they are all taken, the only option is to either do a 52 point turn at the end (because it’s blocked), or reverse back down the row. Not a good time when we were trying to park late at night and I’m reversing down rows because they are full while cars are behind me, trying to drive down the row to look for their own parking spot. Nope, nope, nope. Will not stay here again. Too much money for this level of aggravation.

Booked a room that was meant to have a pool view with a balcony! Not given that. When questioning it, was told they don’t have rooms like that. The hotel is filthy! The floors hadn’t been hoovered, the cor...ridors were covered in dust and looked disgusting! Bathroom was gross, room hadn’t been dusted. Absolutely awful. We left and booked a different hotel!!

I have to write to the team at the Renaissance to show my gratitude for making my partners birthday so special. Starting with Jenn (MOD) who leads a great team of associates Kean and Will (sorry I forgot n...ames of the other front desk associates). BIG THANKS to the concierge team of Gordon and Erin. Absolutely, the right people for the right job. Just wanted to thank you all for always helping us when we needed it. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. I hope to be back soon to see you all again.

Justin was our front desk clerk but he was much more than that. He exhibited excellence from the moment we checked in to minute we checked out, one week later. We travel a fair amount and we have not enco...untered a more friendly, knowledgeable, respectful Marriott employee. He made our trip awesome! Thank you Justin! Rosie & Eduardo Bryant
