Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa is going through an extensive transformation. This is a two year project from 2023-2025 with the rebranding to Grand Hyatt.
Here is an outline of the areas impacted and proposed timelines:

Terrible service and poor management. The renovation is beautiful, but not worth the money for the experience. For a luxury hotel, the service was very poor and not worth the price tag. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had in all of my travels. I can not recommend this hotel.
First class dining, staff and accommodations

My husband and I have been coming to this property since 2016 and once again, it did not disappoint. The hotel is in the process of completing the renovation that will upgrade it to a Grand Hyatt. It is incredible all of the upgrades that have already been completed. Let’s start withe the rooms. They have been completely remodeled with new flooring, paint, fixtures, furniture and decor. The rooms are exceptionally clean and inviting. As Globalist members we were gifted an upgrade to a hospitality suite. This included a separate living/dining room, additional full bath, kitchenette, dining room table and fold out couch. It was spacious and luxurious. We spent much of our time by the pool. They have reconfigured the pool area to include upgraded paved stone, and added additional natural flora. The chairs are comfortable. The pool is clean and inviting and the visual appeal is everything you would expect from an upscale resort. Aaron is on of the best assets this Hyatt has in terms of guest service. He waited on us each day and was friendly and attentive. He anticipated any needs we might have as we relaxed poolside and gave excellent service. We were fortunate enough to have breakfast this morning in the newly opened as of today “Mesa Central”. Mark was our waiter and he was an absolute delight. He shared with us about how excited they were to have new menu offerings from the celebrity chef Richard Blais. I can tell you we were equally as excited as we tasted 2 of the breakfast menu offerings. My husband had the smoked salmon bagel and I had the Belgian waffle. Both were prepared with the freshest of ingredients and not a detail was missed. Both visually appealing and decadent, these offerings were prepared with love! You could see and taste it. Though we leave today, we are so excited to plan our next stay at this property. Go! Enjoy! You won’t be disappointed.
