Cesar was the best, he made this experience so much fun. He also makes the best drinks, and if you are in need of a new drink to try he got you. Definitely recommend coming to Barcelo and getting the premium level experience you won’t regret it! 10/10 experience.

Cesar was the best! We honestly preferred to stay in the premium level lobby since he was there and made it fun & comfortable for us! We just chilled, played cards and got some snacks and he was always looking out for us and asking if we needed anything! Thank you Cesar!

Mr. Cesar Lopez in the premium lounge was absolutely fantastic. A really good bartender, very personable, and helped us speak Spanish! A very nice wonderful man would definitely 100% come back for him. He made every drink asked for and was very helpful and patient in trying to figure out what we wanted. My whole family absolutely loved him and would stop by to have a drink every time we saw him working!! Thank you Cesar Lopez ????

We have had a good time at Barceló. One thing to mention is the incredible people working at this facility. Our daughter got sick due to food poisoning, kitchen sent room service to the room every time we needed food for her. Hard to say when she got sick but you may want to stay away from the salad bar. Overall food was good, nothing spectacular. I recommend trying the taco bar at the snack bar. What made this place special is the nature and the sea. The river coming down to the sea made the sea water very agreeable. Waking up to the mountain view was spectacular. I have never seen the moon this bright in my life. This place is so secluded from the city itself that you really can appreciate the nature. I recommend taking a full day boat ride with Jack Sparrow. They take you to snorkeling and waterfalls. Waterfall was not clean when we visited due to heavy rains. If you are looking for clear waterfall, this may not be the best season to go up there. Snorkeling and visiting the islands nearby was amazing. You have the option to walk up to the waterfall or take ATVs. We preferred to walk up, which we are glad we did as it gave us the opportunity to see the village and nature. At the end of the trip we were dropped off at one beach where we can get some lunch. This could be pricey for some, so you may want to ask to be dropped back at the hotel if you don’t want to pay too much for food. We appreciated the all adult pool. I also noticed they have a smaller kids pool all under shade for people with small kids. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was how loud it was until late night. If you are looking for a quiet place to vacation, this may not be the place, but if you are looking to party; you came to the right place.

The best thing at buffet was literally the chicken nuggets. Meat quality was not good. Food was used from day before. Not worth it
