The HRPC delivers again!

We visited the HR over Thanksgiving and quite simply had another amazing time. This is our 12th year coming to this location and it consistently delivers with an amazing beach, quality food and good service. These have been the reasons we became HOF members 6 years ago. A special thanks to our “Mayor Domos” Mariel and Ogalis who provided outstanding service and were there for everything we needed. One member of our party had a special request for IPA’s and they went out and got some for him. Overall a great week and look forward to returning soon.

Horrible food for vegetarians/vegans

BEWARE - it is extremely hard to eat here as a vegetarian or vegan. It's day 3/7 and while there are options for vegetarians/vegans, many are not palatable, e.g., pizzas that are half cooked and somehow worse than Pizza Hut/papa John's/ dominoes and no veggie tacos at the one Mexican restaurant. To top it off, i've ordered room service as a last resort for the past two nights requesting a cheese quesadilla rather than a chicken quesadilla (because of course there are no vegetarian options), and was deliveries a chicken quesadilla both nights even though I called and double checked the second night. Great resort otherwise, but if you're a vegetarian/vegan - bring your own food or be prepared to lose some weight/muscle. FFs

Past it’s prime , poor service

Hotel is in serious need of renovation with exposed electrical wires, mold on exterior walls, lots of broken electrical fixtures outside Food is average. Service hit or miss. Many advertised activities are at additional cost. Played golf one day. Checked my golf clubs with Bellman. When driver pulled from bag for next round, driver shaft had been broken in half. Filed complaint and customer service denied any responsibility.

Bad Experience Dont Go

We were celebrating my sister 50th Birthday. Our accomodations was for 5 days. We worked all year to save up for this monumental birthday. I had arranged before we arrived a birthday celebration package. We arrived to our room, no happy birthday celebration decorations. We went to the lobby to discuss they directed us talk to the conceirge, the concierge told us to talk to the vacation planners. We went down the hallway to talk to the Vacation Planners they were gone. Well my sister never received her birthday celebration. It became too frustrating. Then she was in my presence making the arrangements. It was null and void. It is not a surprise any longer. Our room was beautiful! 2 double beds, living room and big bathroom, beautiful balcony with jacuzzi. It stops there we requested for face towels we only received face towels once during a 5 day trip. We requested for our fridge to be restocked by the maid service. Only because the lobby told us it would be restocked everyday. We were told to talk to the lobby to restock our fridge, then we were directed to the concierge. I have never heard of such madness. The concierge told us she will remind the maid service. We thought that was apart of the accomodations. Moving On! We had to wait for the trolley only for the trolley to be always full. The food was not the best. We found Los Gallos. The buffet was wonderful. We ran into Henry our waiter he provided excellent service. Make sure you see Henry he will treat you right! We had our pics done by the photography place. The pics were excellent. I would absolutely get the pics to remember the experience. As a family we will not be coming back to the Hard Rock because of the terrible experience. They promise you everything but you dont get the service for the amount of money you pay for. Even out the door they are still trying to sell you. Dont do it!

Winter gate away …

The Hotel room wasn’t great, too many noises day and night from the wall way. The food was great especially in Toro and Zen Restaurant. Room service was great the only thing that the Chicken and vegetables soup too salted and all the food for lunch buffet in ISLA not so great. The sales team that tied to sell the LVC, very aggressive and demanding. Overall give 4 star instead of 5 star Dimond.
