Our stay was very nice and relaxing. Samuel was a gem; extremely kind and he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of including a special surprise in our room!! It was definitely appreciated! The Staff we all friendly and happy to assist. The food was above average - I recommend the Italian and Indian restaurants.

I just checked in at the Royalton Chic Resort in Punta Cana. I’m here with my husband and two daughters. So far I am yet to experience the 5 star ?? luxury hotel experience. The first room that we were given had a horrible mouldy smell, that hit you in the face the face the moment you walk in, the balcony door handle was broken when we opened it for fresh air. We went back to the reception desk and requested for another room and the gentleman at the front desk was really nice and give us another room, this room was nicer than the first one, but the AC was making this loud noise like a train engine noise. Again we went back to the front desk and asked for maintenance people to come and fix the problem, no one has come the time is now 3:06 am and trying to get some sleep and I can’t find my beauty rest with this annoying noise. It is really disappointing to pay for something and not getting what was advertised.
