Fantastic for families. Staff make this resort amazing!

This was a large resort with many things to do. They have excellent staff which includes the reception team, housekeeping, entertainment team, food and beverage teams, kids club team and others too! The rooms are allocated in blocks numbered. If you can get a lower numbered block you be more closer to the pool area. The rooms themselves were really big with a balcony. The air con worked really well in the rooms and the bathroom area was big with separate toilets and shower. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in making sure the rooms were kept clean, made up and minibar refilled. They even provided turndown service in the evenings making sure the rooms were clean before you sleep leaving a little chocolate bar on the pillows and adjusting the TV to play soothing music and visuals. Food options in this hotel were amazing. The standard buffet option was there and they had different food every day. There was also a plethora of Ala carte restaurants, our favourite was the Bluewater Grill and Himitsu the Asian restaurant. Though there were other options too like Mexican, Italian, French, etc. There was also an outdoor grill which was very convenient for when you just wanted to quickly grab something while at the pool. One of the nice things they also had was the small dedicated shops they had for coffees and smoothies, fruit to go and Ice cream. This was a true all inclusive resort in that not only did the hotel provide different food and drink options but they also include activities for adults and children. There is a kids club that seem to be quite popular. For adults you could go paddling in the sea or even ride a bike out to Puerto Morales. The staff running these events were very friendly and also quite funny making sure everyone was having a good time. Also most evenings there was some form of entertainment. They seemed to really excel at the Mexican entertainment nights and also the fire breathers who performed at the pool were excellent. There is also a theatre where they had some shows on some nights. There was a beach but we found it to be a bit average. There was a lot of seaweed on it and we didn't stay there but you didn't need to when the Main pool was actually very spacious and nice. There is also a separate pool for adults only and a smaller pool with slides for kids. There was a beach bar on the beach which was also quite nice. One other option you could consider is having the preferred lounge. We were glad we had the Preferred lounge as the aircon was especially cold in this room so provided a nice retreat from the heat throughout the day and evening sometimes too. Here you could get nice drinks from the preferred bar and also they had snacks and nibbles here throughout the day. Would definitely recommend this as a resort for families.

Beautiful resort. Stayed 5 days for a family members wedding. Staff were extremely friendly. The kids explorer club was awesome. Buffet food and room service were good, the Mexican restaurant El Patio was fantastic. I want to take the time to shout out some staff members. Eduardo made breakfast a fun experience every morning. He was attentive, friendly, helped me with my Spanish, and even performed magic tricks for my kid! Carlos at the sports bar was again super friendly, made amazing drinks, and took the time to find whatever game I wanted to watch on the TV. Carlos made my wife the best margaritas she had all week! Finally Ismail. He works at the Asian restaurant and was the server one night at our families beach bonfire. He was a blast and taught me a lot of Spanish, was super attentive, just all around fantastic with me and my family. Hyatt / dreams, you have some real talent with your staff. I hope you take good care of them because they took great care of us. We’ll definitely be back and we are going to try to bring more family next time. Thanks for the amazing trip, I recommend this resort for anyone looking for a family friendly all inclusive. The only con was probably the beach, there was a lot of grass and the water wasn’t super clear. This could have just been the time of year. Tl:dr amazing trip, family friendly, great staff - we’ll be back
