This hotel was recommended and booked by our local TA.Great choice,the location was excellent and the room facilities were all we needed and more.Staff were so friendly and helpful.When they heard we were ...on a trip for our Golden Wedding they gave us a small gift from the hotel. I could recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit the area.
The Argonaut was an experience in and of itself!

Our trip to San Francisco and Yosemite started at the Argonaut, and it was a great way to begin our trip! The staff was so welcoming and hospitable. Our room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and ...our view of the bay, park, and Golden Gate Bridge was amazing! The hotel location was perfect for venturing through Fisherman’s Wharf, and our room location(facing Hyde Street) made it private and quiet. We had an excellent breakfast at their attached restaurant, the Blue Mermaid, that had a great atmosphere. Our server Martin was terrific. We found the Argonaut to be a charming hotel with service that made it feel like we were on vacation! It was a favorite on our vacation!
