Fabulous time and Excellent Customer Service!

The trip ended Fantastic!, but we were less than pleased when we arrived. There were a few glitches, but they were addressed and resolved almost immediately. The customer service is some of the best we have had in years. Now, on to the staff! The pool crew is by far the friendliest and most proactive we have experienced in ages. We stayed at the Vanderbilt last year, and the staff at The Fairmont far exceeds the Vanderbilt. Let's start with Enwil (thank you!), Wilfredo, and Nashalie Pereira (thank you for my morning shout-outs!). Giovanniel Barreira, Sheila, Jesus, and Juan. We also saw almost all the pool staff accommodating and friendly all day! We had a nightly beverage at the lobby bar, where our favorite bartender was Keith. He was so funny and so down to earth. Last but not least, Jamel was the star who made the whole trip perfect from start to finish. She and Stephanie, Julissa, and Kristal are on point! It's worth noting that the hotel is starting to show its age, but we are confident that the management will address this soon. However, the exceptional service we received more than made up for any minor inconveniences caused by the hotel's age. We will add the pools are fantastic. There are three, and they cater to different folks, so whether you can be with kids or not. The lobby is where the action is. There are activities, or you can people-watch. If you are feeling lucky, you can even pop into the casino! The restaurants were ok. We liked the little Italian place, and The Meat Market was delish. The breakfast buffet at Cana was included in our rate (shout out to Jannette, who was on point every day!), and it was a great way to start the day. We are truly grateful to everyone at The Fairmont for making our stay memorable. Their exceptional service and friendly demeanor have left a lasting impression on us, and we look forward to returning.

This hotel is on the strip of isla verde on the beach and near lots of restaurants. Hotel is really nice and they have live bands at night. The service at this hotel was above and beyond. The Service by the Pool and beach exceed my expectations. Sheila took care of me on the very first day and she did an amazing job. She’s always smiling and very attentive to her tables. She goes above and beyond and makes recommendations on food and drinks which is a plus. She went on break and introduce me to the person who would be replacing her incase I needed anything which in most cases you don’t see this type of attention. All it took was my first day and saw the attention Shiela gave which made come back everyday to the pool and beach to receive this phenomenal service. Definitely staying here when I come back next time.
