We recently stayed at Bay Gardens Marina Haven with high hopes, based on the resort’s reputation. Sadly, our experience was deeply disappointing and distressing, particularly as we were travelling with our... young child. From the start, we encountered multiple issues that went unresolved despite raising them with staff repeatedly: • Leaking Toilet: Our bathroom had a persistent leak which damaged some of our personal clothing. Despite reporting this, it was not rectified during our stay. • Noise Levels: Every night, extremely loud music played until as late as 3am. This was completely unacceptable for a family resort and left our 7-year-old child in tears, exhausted and unable to sleep. We did not feel that staff took our concerns seriously. • Late Housekeeping: Our room was not cleaned until 5pm on some days, which disrupted our ability to relax or settle back in the room with our child during the afternoon. No explanation or apology was given. • Unhelpful Staff: Unfortunately, when we tried to raise these concerns, we were often dismissed or given vague promises that someone would “look into it.” We felt fobbed off rather than supported. • Disturbing Incident at the Pool: Most troubling of all, we experienced an incident at the pool where another guest touched our child inappropriately. While we intervened and addressed the matter ourselves, there was no follow-up from hotel staff. This left us feeling unsafe and shaken. This was meant to be a special holiday for our family, but instead, it was stressful and upsetting. We expected far better from a resort under the Bay Gardens brand. We sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously. Until then, we would not recommend this property to families or anyone expecting a restful and secure stay.

The team were super helpful and knowledgeable about the area. ...They helped me rebook an excursion at hotel chocolate when I got mixed up with dates. Also very responsive to queries. The team here will ensure that you enjoy your stay.. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower room was more modern and clean also. Breakfast was tasty with something for everyone. The evening meal was great when I had it. The shuttle to the other hotels in the chain, beach and shopping areas was a life saver. This is the closest hotel in the chain to Gros Ilet . It would be good on a Friday to expand the loop to the area for guests. Thanks to Ms Deborah, Arnold, Sean and the reception team for making our stay comfortable. Hopefully next time I come there will be a lift. I would say this was the budget option from the Bay suite of hotels.

We are in tobago after 1 week in this hotel It is only 3 star but still very nice. One downside is shade around the pool no umbrellas. Very loud music from next door at weekends. Very good AC. Shout out to... Arnold the barman. You can get the shuttle to two other properties. If you are booked through Blue Bay travel you cannot eat at the beach hotel as part of AI or use the pool it's quite specific to Blue Bay travel clients. One week is enough. I wouldn't return to St Lucia.

The hotel is very tired and badly in need of refurbishment. However the staff were helpful and very friendly (particularly Tessa and Guertrude in the restaurant), A couple of things needed fixing in our ro...om (266) and were reported but were not carried out during our stay. Probably wouldn’t rush back until reborn is done.

My mum and I stayed here to enjoy some winter sun for my birthday. All the staff were very helpful. We were greeted by the “pretty Amelia” on arrival. Debra and “Mr Fix it” were kind enough to help decorat...e our patio area we had on our ground floor room. Also the kind housekeeper spent some time to decorate inside the room. The rooms are spacious with two comfy double beds. A nice sized clean bathroom, fridge and UK plug sockets. Tasty local food, Arnold on the bar, always attentive with our favourite cocktails. Lovely pool, although short of loungers but mentioned there would be getting new in the next coming months? Free safety box and pool towels. Free shuttle bus to sister hotels which was great to visit the beach or for some shopping. Excursions easy to book from here also recommend. This hotel is slightly smaller and quieter which was ideal for a relaxing holiday. With Rodney bay marina walking distance , lovely evening settings and highly recommend having a pizza and a piton here while to sun goes down.
