Service is excellent; however, property needs renovation. Mattress is too hard (Room 404) and room needs to be renovated.

Our family of four recently returned from an unforgettable two-week stay at the Bay Gardens Resort & Spa in St. Lucia. We were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this resort, from the delectable food to the exhilarating water park and the pristine beach. I've read a number of different reviews about the resort. Some good and some bad, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is not a 5 star resort, but it is clean, well maintained and great if you are not looking for one of those massive, sprawling places that are very impersonal. We read that there was building work going on and yes, we got one of the rooms that overlooked the building site. Now I agree that it was not nice to look at, but then again, we didn't spend much time on the balcony anyway and there was no noise disturbance. So it wasn't as bad as some people made out. The resort's dining options were consistently excellent, with a wide variety of dishes to please even the pickiest eaters. After two weeks, we had discovered our absolute favourites. Sometimes when it was really busy, it did take a long time to get our food, but that's why we bought playing cards with us ;-) During the whole trip the staff were excellent - making us feel at home and being very attentive. The Splash Island Water Park was a major hit with our kids (and me). It offered endless fun, with a range of slides, obstacles, and climbing structures to keep us entertained for hours. The big air bag was a highlight, with my son and I trying to see how high we could launch my daughter! The resort's location on Reduit Beach was simply perfect. The golden sand and warm, inviting water made it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, and watching the sunset. While there were a few licensed vendors on the beach, they were respectful and not at all intrusive. The resort's pool was another favourite spot for our family. The kids loved splashing around and enjoying the delicious mocktails while soaking up the sun. We were delighted to receive eight massage vouchers as part of our stay. The 30-minute back massage was absolutely fantastic, leaving us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Overall, our two weeks at the Bay Gardens Resort & Spa were truly magical. The resort offered everything we could have wanted for a perfect family vacation: delicious food, a fun pool and a stunning beachfront location. We would highly recommend this resort to any family looking for a memorable Caribbean getaway

One of the Bartenders was not very helpful bur besides that everything was excellent. The restaurant staff was amazing! Splash island water park staff so friendly and helpful. This experience was amazing!
