Perfect family vacation at a luxury resort!

We spent 5 wonderful nights at the Hilton Cancun with our 4-year-old twins and had an amazing time. This resort strikes a perfect balance between luxury and family-friendliness. Here’s a detailed breakdown... of our stay: ? Arrival & Transportation We booked a private transfer with Canada Transfers and it was excellent – punctual, friendly driver, complimentary drinks, and felt very safe. The hotel is about 30 minutes south of the Hotel Zone, in a more secluded, peaceful area, which we really appreciated. ? Check-In Experience Upon arrival, we were greeted with cold towels and a welcome drink – such a refreshing touch! Check-in was quick and smooth. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and high-end throughout. ? Room We stayed in a corner room on the 3rd floor by the kids’ pool – it was perfect. The room was spacious and spotless, with a huge wraparound balcony complete with a daybed, chairs, and a table. The bathroom was large and sleek, with glass walls, but separate doors for the toilet and shower provided privacy. ? Food & Restaurants We mostly ate at the buffet, which offered great variety daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A special shout-out to Daniel at the buffet – his service was exceptional, and all the staff were so friendly and eager to help. We tried tacos at Maxal Taquería – hands down the best tacos we’ve had. We also had one à la carte dinner at La Luce – incredible service and delicious Italian food. We tried the sushi at Sunan, and it was amazing – fresh and flavorful. One morning, we ordered room service breakfast and the Eggs Benedict were fantastic. Also worth mentioning: the Nescafé machines in the lobby serve the best coffees – I personally drank five latte macchiatos a day. And the ice cream shop’s fresh churros? Unreal! ? Pools & Kids Amenities The pools were not as cold as we had read in other reviews – actually very comfortable. They were large and never overcrowded. Our kids absolutely loved the splash park and water park – perfect depth (about 1 ft), and we could easily supervise them from nearby. The Kids Club was great for morning free play, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. ? Beach This is probably the only downside. The beach is small and had quite a bit of seaweed due to windy conditions during our stay. While they cleaned it daily, the waves kept bringing more in. We didn’t mind much as we’re more pool people, but it’s worth noting. The north side of the resort has more beach chairs and umbrellas, though we didn’t make it there. I did notice some erosion concerns near the foundation, which might be something the resort will need to address over time. ? Entertainment & Activities We caught the “Retro Show” one evening, and it was a hit – high energy and entertaining for both adults and kids. We also saw the Michael Jackson show, and it was really well done – great music and performance. Pool activities like volleyball were also fun and well-organized. ? Overall Impression This resort was a perfect mix of upscale relaxation and kid-friendly fun. The service, food, and facilities were all top notch. We would absolutely recommend it to families and would love to come back again.
Nice facility and staff but food and beverage was disappointing

The staff was AMAZING and the rooms and facility was really nice. There is basically no beach and what is there is full of little rocks, so if you go in with bare feet, it will hurt. There were red flag wa...rnings everyday that we were there, so that wasn't an option for us anyway. The food was not good. The only good options were what was served poolside everyday. They had tacos, burgers, pizza, quesadillas, etc. We went to both the italian and mexican restaurants on site and they were very disappointing. The beverages were clearly watered down at all the bars.
