AWFUL EXPERIENCE, STAY AWAY!!!

Do not trust this resort. We went expecting a wonderful experience, and it was awful. We were there for a total of 2 hours till we asked to leave because so much was wrong. They made me stay in a room on 2nd floor with no elevator, I am handicap with a cane and can't walk stairs. They were asked months in advance for a 1st floor but obviously didn't care. The ac was broke, no towels at pool, fridge broke, and no reservation for restaurants. We asked to leave and they said fine it would take a few weeks for refund. 3 days later, they said no, we think you only should get half money back to punish me for leaving. I signed papers allowing me to leave without penalty. It's disgusting they treat people this way. I was there for my birthday and had to pay for other accommodations because of them. IM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY BACK...... STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT... THEY BLAME BARCELO FOR EVERYTHING AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR GUESTS!!!

Great place to stay, beautiful hotel with awesome view, good food with great service. I would stay there again and recommend it to everyone visiting Cancun. Close to tours and shopping.
