From the pre arrival email from the Manager (Fairmont Gold Status + Gold Suite), the hotel SUV drivers, to an accommodated early check in, Jessie's drinks at Clockworks, to being greeted by the AMAZING lad...ies in the gold lounge who remember how I like my coffee from my last stay in Jan - FIRST class all the way!! I have stayed at many Fairmonts in gold level suites and noting compares to the Royal York! The room and view was breathtaking, the Gold lounge is spectacular, the personalized touches are incredible, housekeeping is amazing and the nightly turn down is one of a kind! I recognize it's costly to stay Gold level suite and with that comes some expectation of quality service but what this hotel offers is beyond transactional. The staff here are truly one of a kind! Special thank you to my favorite ladies and how they take care of me and make every morning better - Agnes, Karla and Maryan. I cannot wait for my next visit and thank you for taking such good care of me and making every stay unforgettable ! ??

I enjoyed my stay. I had room service for dinner and the food was great. I loved staying in such a historic hotel. My only complaint is that pillows smelled like the previous guest. However, I called front... desk and this was resolved quickly. Great location but finding overnight street parking was difficult.

The room was immaculate and Stella G was the most professional and attentive house keeper I may have ever come across. She truly made me feel more important than I probably deserve! One of the best Fairmon...t experiences I’ve ever had - Thank you!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Fairmont Royal York for my bachelorette and wedding. The Royal York is a beautiful and historic hotel but what made the stay so wonderful was the staff. Revna fr...om the client services team is the most incredible and dedicated employee I have ever encountered during a hotel stay. When she found out it was my bachelorette, she ensured my friends and I were put in an amazing suite with complimentary bubbly and snacks, which made the entire experience!! My husband and I also stayed at the Fairmont the night before our wedding and several nights after. Revna made sure we were in a beautiful room with some great snacks - this made getting ready for our wedding and our honeymoon we spent at the Fairmont even more special. We also want to thank Carmen S. on the 11th floor who warmly took care of us and our room. Every single member of the staff we interacted with went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing stay during this very special time in our lives. We truly cannot thank the staff of the Fairmont more - the Royal York will always be a special place for us after our wonderful stay.

A short visit - first night after a flight from Europe. We really appreciated location, comfort and facilities. Jacuzzi and sauna - good way to address jet-lag. All staff members very helpful! Getting WiFi... access required using local phone with data or paying for the service and refunding later, after registering as member. Was that really necessary? No fixed price option for breakfast, only a la carte.
