This resort was terrible. Bad food quality, almost inedible and the staff is rude. Upgraded our room and was extremely dissatisfied in the upgrade, so much so that we had to change rooms mid stay. They als...o are not able to accommodate large groups. The hostess told us we weren’t able to sit together unless we bought a bottle of wine for each table, which I learned at checkout they charged me $350 PER BOTTLE without me signing off at the end of our meal. Preferred club is a scam, not worth it in my opinion. I would never return to this resort even if someone paid me to.

Great overall experience. Check in and out was smooth. Entertainment staff was wonderful. Participated in pool and ocean activiities. Food was good except for the Gaucho grill. Avoid food there if you valu...e your time and taste buds. Japanese restaurant was good!

Jhandi was our server on the beach and he was phenomenal! He was fast, friendly, and very attentive. We were there for many days in a row and he always remembered us and we had great banter. Luis was our ...server twice at the Japanese restaurant and he was amazing! He was so sweet and funny and he made dinner even more enjoyable!

Our family with kids ages 9 and 6 stayed a week at Dreams Sands and had the best experience! The service and staff were unbelievably kind and accommodating. The white sand beach and turquoise water were br...eathtaking. The restaurants were wonderful - not a single bad meal! So many great drinks - and tons of non-alcoholic options which the kids found very cool. The daily and nightly entertainment was great - zumba in the ocean, dancing by the pool, family challenges, evening shows, silent dance party. We had so much fun without even leaving the resort. We were grateful for the kayaks, paddle boards and mini sail boat - the man that took us on the water was great! I can't say enough good, we would love to come back. Some staff shout outs!! Gustavo - the best on the beach. Took care of every need all week! Sand toys, floats, towels - you name it. Magaly - wonderful beach service Antonio - nicest man from the spa, bringing smiles all over. Natalia - fun dance moves, great personality Melissa - lovely, made bracelets for the whole family. So friendly! Diana - the best ocean Zumba instructor! I joined a few days in a row with so many people. Leilani - loved dancing by the pool with her! Alberto - the kindest server. The bartenders at Barracuda. Jorge - the kindest server at World Cafe Honestly EVERYONE was exceptional. Thank you!

The staff is amazing! Special shout out to the girls with the activities who were so amazing with my little one. Medalia, Leilani and Natalia. To the sweetest chef who went out of his way to make me taco...s when they didn’t have any! I feel terrible not knowing his name. Thank you to Federico for getting me drunk and for showing me about wine! He was so knowledgeable and made the activity so fun. This was our second time in this resort. First time was back in 2021. Only reason I can’t give them 5 stars is because I definitely feel like the main pool can be updated. There were some tiles missing at the bottom and caused a few accidents with people getting cut. Other than that location, food everything great!
