The service at the pool area was excellent. We always had our chairs when we went down during the day. I need a drink, but was always there to service us. The restaurants are always so accommodating the fo...od delicious. Been coming for seven years. Hope to continue coming for seven more.

Met every expectation we had, great staff, clean and beautiful facilities, the most relaxing vacation I have been on. Did the all-inclusive package and never had to worry about a thing- no extra charges in...curred. Pools and beaches are very clean and well-kept. Staff is friendly and goes the extra mile to make sure you are having a good time. Food was great, I have a gluten allergy and they were very cautious and accommodating. Could not have had a better trip, highly recommend!

This was our 5th stay at VDP and there’s a reason we keep coming back…it’s fantastic. We brought another family this trip for their first VDP experience and they loved it as well. The rooms are spacious, w...ell-appointed, and there’s nothing to worry about. Special recognition to our breakfast waiters at Capricho’s — Cesar and Ignacio — they were superb and had our morning drinks already at the table by the time we sat down! At the pool, Wilbert and David kept our drinks full and were extremely attentive. The only negative worth mentioning is that some of the pool attendants (not the waiters) were overly aggressive with umbrellas. On one day in particular, an attendant tried to take our umbrella because he said other chairs (that were unoccupied — hotel was at 17% capacity) didn’t have one. We had 2 because my daughter has a skin condition and requires shade, but he didn’t care, even through there were plenty of other unused umbrellas that could have been moved. The attendant finally said “no problem” but came back 4x to try and take it again. Each time I asked him to leave us alone and he refused, so I asked for his manager. Of course he refused that as well, but he also didn’t get our umbrella and eventually went away. Then the very next day, despite being so adamant the day before that we couldn’t have 2 umbrellas (for 6 chairs), he didn’t say a word and actually offered to bring another guest a 2nd umbrella who was sitting next to us. I’m not sure why Angel changes his tune, but his customer service skills are definitely lacking. Despite that experience, it was still a great stay.

We ate at Capricio's buffet and just want to let everyone know about Efrain Parra. Efrain was amazing and attentive and gave great advice on places to eat around the hotel area. Also wanted to give a speci...al shoutout to Raul the server at the hotel pool. He kept those drinks coming and even surprised us with a cute dessert for my brother in laws birthday
