We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay at Secrets Huatulco! All the staff were amazing! Josue was our server for our dinner on the beach and he was fantastic! He went above and beyond and offered to take pictures too!! Our drink server, Julio, on the beach was great all week and ran his butt off serving everyone drinks with a smile. We hope to come back.

Great staff. Amazing views. Food was great! Largest pools. Clean beach. I appreciated that there was a smaller quieter pool with amazing views. Views of sunrise and sunsets. Will be back for sure! The weather was amazing. Definitely beats Cancun side.

This night I tasted one curious way to eat chicken, the Kushiage chicken, It was extraordinary, but when I added the soja sauce... it became the superstar of my visit, it made my dinner. Thanks to chef David & Santiago for this delicious dinner. Also big thanks for Luis Rivas, my waiter this night. I drank hot mint tea.

My family had a really lovely stay at this resort! The beach was beautiful and swimmable, we had daily access to kayaks, paddleboards, volleyball, and more. The beach seemed quiet, not overcrowded like many other resorts and we always had enough chairs, and the shade-huts were large and had lots of shade (much needed in this family). We found most of the restaurants on the resort to be delicious, and the buffet was tasty too. Sometimes they had special set-ups in the evening, like BBQ night, or Mexican night, with a large themed buffet, and those were always very good. The drink service was excellent during the day at the beach and during the evening themed-buffets. The snack bar actually had delicious snacks - we ate guac and chips every day. All the staff were polite, earnest, and kind. We would definitely come back here! My only gripe is the spa - it is ridiculously over-priced. Some of its offers would be 2x or 3x the price of what I would pay back in Canada. I think they would definitely get more clients if they lowered the prices, instead of giving out coupon booklets on arrival (and even with the coupons, the prices were not worth it).

Overall a nice get away but the resort is starting to feel tired. Wonderful Staff and very attentive. It's definitely aimed at older clients, the type that run down at 7am to the pool to put their towels on the pool chairs, so good luck finding a chair to sit after 9am. What we didnt expect: non stop pushing of their membership, they tell you it's 90 minutes over breakfast but speaking with other guests, it was 4 hours of pressure sales. We walked from the front desk to the far elevator and was approached by 3 different sales people to attend the no pressure breakfast about the club almost every day!
