Dirty

darlynn1925 (San Francisco, California) on Apr 12, 2025

I have no high expectations for this hotel, I know about the bad reviews, and this is obviously an older hotel in Vegas. I booked the Stay Well rooms expecting that its one of the cleaner floors. When we ...arrived, the beds are clean but the carpet is very disgusting, looks like somebody just cut their nails and left it on the floor, and the housekeeping did not see them. There was a bread and luggage tag behind the tv cabinet which was not ours. There was also a penny lying on the floor. I called the front desk and requested to be moved but they said they were fully booked, they just sent somebody to clean and vacuum the room. I hope mgm will address this lapse of quality of service of their housekeeping team.

$80 in mandatiory daily extra fees - Rip Off!

Steve B (Orange County, California) on Apr 12, 2025

Nice room but rip off $55 resort fee pus an additonal $25 daily parking fee. Pool area nice except for constant irritating loud music and 2 of 3 pool areas closed. Each pool only three feet deep. Blue Man ...Group show was very amusing with great visual special effects.

Older hotel that needs some TLC but still had a good time

Karen M (Battle Creek, Michigan) on Apr 12, 2025

This hotel is older and needs some TLC, but overall it fit our needs. Staff is very friendly and entertainment and food was great. We stayed on the 27th floor and it was quiet and the beds extremely comf...ortable. Housekeeping could of been better.

Vampire diaries.. for those who love the dark

khs30 (Folkestone, United Kingdom) on Apr 12, 2025

The positives.. it was clean and well located. The bell service at the end of the stay was excellent. L The negatives On top of the already paid accommodation fees, we had for 2 rooms for 6 nights a furt...her $612 in resort fees and $612 in deposit to paid at check in. $1224 extra is a lot, it was upsetting and put a serious dent in our budget. For all this I was expecting luxury.. I was wrong. The rooms were clean but basic. Old furniture and not means of making a hot drink. For this you had to go down to the overpriced Starbucks. The sink would not drain for the first few days of our stay. The rooms were very dark probably partly because of the MGM advert on the outside of the windows. The whole building was dark, dingy and dated. Great it you are a vampire .. We frequently got electric shocks from the lifts and hotel doors. The ‘essentials’ shop did not have any prices on their goods. My daughter needed sanitary products and paid over $20 .. extortion. At the pools you were given a clean towel which was a positive. The first pool was heated and full of people standing around drinking, which made swimming quite tricky, plus one wondered what was heating it ! People soup. The second pool was, lovely, cool and less people standing drinking so we were able to swim in it. However it was only open on one day, which was a shame. The gym was good. We had considered going to the Spa, but this would have cost more. I’m not sure what the resort fee covered .. the use of the gym and the pool (in which you couldn’t swim) I presume ? Overall I suggest you stay elsewhere.

Nice and very central hotel

Hans Peter W on Apr 11, 2025

Nice and very central hotel, but a bit on the older side. Beds are nice and restaurants are okay. A decent amount of machines to gamble on and very efficient hotel. The only sad part is that it is getting ...a bit old and is in need of upgrades here and there. Overall a very nice and central hotel.
