Luxor 2024

Nicola S (Sacramento, California) on Nov 02, 2024

We enjoyed our stay. They have cleaned it up since we last visited 19 years ago. Rooms were nice, though no coffee in the room. Some staff were excellent but others surly. Good value for money, but a serious walk to the strip, even using the trams. Would stay again if necessary, but wouldn’t be our first choice.

Not a very good experience, long lines at check in, rude staff, and smells bad.

Rooms and Casino are not very clean and some staff are just plain rude! Food is not very good. Parking is too far away. For the price they charge for everything is a total rip-off. Can't even get a cup of coffee without waiting on line for 30 to 40 minutes.

The cattle car of rip off hotels.

William O on Nov 02, 2024

The cattle car of hotels. Felt like I was a burden to them that I was there at all. Everything is designed to rip you off-and I am not talking about gambling. Outrageous prices, long lines, total indifference to us as customers. The only positive thing I can say is that the room was clean and well maintained during our stay.

Terrible beyond Words

Kaye W on Nov 02, 2024

I hadn't seen my son from Florida in 2 years...so we planned a special trip to Vegas and stayed at Luxor. I am a 73 year old lady who used to live in Las Vegas. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. Two hours to check in ( paid for early check in, but didn't really get in the room until late). There is no on answering the front desk to assist you if there are problems....customers must walk clear across the casino from the room and wait in line for any problem to be addressed. The remotes didn't work on the TV and a panel fell crashing off the hot tub in the middle of the night. The baggage people hate to help customers, especially near check out time....but customers can't use any luggage caddies...so another 45- min to hour wait. There is no where to sit out front if you are waiting for anyone or anything and the new philosophy of Vegas to charge customers for any possible expense. Parking is ridiculous and food at even a food court is $20-$25 per person for an inexpensive meal. The spa (open from 9:00 to 4:00) charges $50.00/day for guests) but had no availability for hair appointments Saturday-Monday. Guests weren't allowed to tour the spa before paying the $50.00. I was more of a worker in this hotel than a customer..laden with nothing but problems and staff that really appeared to not want any customers in the facility. I couldn't leave the place fast enough...checking out early just avoid more expense and aggravation for what would go wrong next.
