Dreams Las Mareas review. We just returned from a 10 night stay at this resort, our adult children, their SO’s and granddaughter stayed 7 nights. Our kids and granddaughter had an amazing time. We would probably not return if just us. The resorts is absolutely beautiful. Love all of the pools and jungle/ tropical feel. Granddaughter loved the kids club and cried when she had to leave the staff from the club, she said it was the best kids club she has went to. The room was comfortable, clean, we received daily maid service and mini bar service with no issues. The staff were polite and did their job, but only a couple stood out to us and deserve a call out. Rosa at preferred bar and Rendevouz was great and Kattia preferred bar. This was a disappointment to us and first time we weren’t saying the staff make this visit. We felt they weren’t as attentive as we have grown accustomed to. We had no complaints about the drinks, they were consistent and strong, no watering down. Food was ok, some excellent, some good and some not so good but this is very subjective, we didn’t lose weight or go hungry. Weddings everyday, sometime multiple, but never interfered with other guest, except one wedding party took over rendezvous one night. Guest were of all ages, lots of couples and large groups. Would we return? Maybe if the family wanted to and we got a good rate. We still had a good trip, made memories, just wasn’t blown away or had me saying I don’t want to leave, when most other trips I say that.

Beautiful lush resort! Loved all the monkeys and wildlife! Took a walk every day across the road into the reserve and along the boardwalks to the beach. Was able to see lots of birds and if you get up at daybreak can get a glimpse of the howler monkeys. We were in building 3, 2nd floor and had monkeys visit every morning. Beach and pool were wonderful. Overall service was good. Restaurants hit and miss. Loved Portofino and Himitsu! The french restaurant was awful. Took 40 min to get our appetizers and food was cold and not very good. We actually walked out without eating. Buffet was wonderful for breakfast! Lunch was not our favorite anywhere. Although did enjoy the seagrill for hamburgers and octopus. Lots of wedding groups. We are not night people so did not mind that there wasn't much going on at night but would have liked to have a nice quiet place to go after dinner. The rendezvous lounge was always crowded with large wedding groups that it did not feel comfortable to go in for a drink so we would just return to our room or go for a walk. There wasn't anywhere else to go to get a nightcap. We did enjoy the cafe for early morning americanas and tea at night. This is a great resort for families and a wonderful location for a destination wedding. We would return if doing a family trip, but not a great couples resort. The trip getting there is long, took us nearly an hour just to get out of the busy streets of Liberia then another 1- 1 /2 hours drive to the resort...Back to the airport was better at 1-1/2 hours.

I have only been on the resort 6 hours and I’m not impressed. The staff is not the most pleasant and the room smells wet and the bed skirt is dirty and the throw pillows on the bed smells .. for the money it not worth it . The food is mid and the service you do get feels forced.. and this is only day one smh ???????. This is not worth 600 a night per person

Beautiful Resort! Place was awesome, the staff is great! So much to eat and drink and the scenery is amazing. There’s are many pools to swim in and enjoy the sun. We also booked 2 excursions with Kenneth on the beach a local with Outdoor adventures and both trips were amazing!

We came here to get married and the service has just been awful. I really could not recommend this place at all to anyone. Key highlights: -my 67 year old mother fell and injured herself on the day of my wedding. Instead of treating her, the doctor refused to provide service unless she signed a waiver. -our guests hibachi reservation was turned away because they were late due to the extensive wait times and slow service, despite showing up before they opened. -on our last night here, half the restaurants were closed. We waited more than 90 minutes for a table at the Mexican restaurant.
