Best friends trip

First of all let me start by saying this is not a party resort. If you are looking for calm, rest and relaxation this might be the place for you. We came here for a best friend’s get away. To relax and recharge. The staff here are beyond amazing. 5 star service from all. Shout out the best of the best- Oneikah at the CoCo Cafe. Serving delicious coffee and I wanted to pack her up and take her home for my kitchen! Sandgrian the waitress likewise went above and beyond during our meals. Very sweet and accommodating. Sharon the bartender- stellar service. Remembers your wants and anticipates your needs. 5 star and above! The butler’s Jason and Sheldon like wise great service. Always happy to help. Letting us know what to expect. Now for the not so good. There aren’t many good food choices. The cafe has limited snacks. If you are a foodie I would keep looking for another resort. Otherwise you must go to a restaurant and order or room service is an option. When you are ordering from the menu- most often they are out of items. It happed at almost every meal. Due to the limited menu and choices- they should in my opinion order enough to not run out. Once or twice oh okay. Every meal is not good customer service. It costs a bunch to travel. Should have options for the price paid. Or at least not run out of stuff. The same can be said for top shelf liquor. They had it. But it runs out quickly then you get substituted cheaper liquor. Towels and wash clothes- it was hard to keep stocked. Always out of them. They will bring when done washing. Never do. Have to complain again. This place could be fabulous! They have a rough gem here. It needs some work in customer service. Would I come back? Likely. Hoping management listens.
Great place to relax!

The rooms were large, the beds are comfortable but the staff was amazing. Small resorts like this one are great, our waiters remembered us, knew what we liked to drink and where we liked to sit. Our butlers Sheldon and Jason texted us every morning and were on top of everything. They texted or saw us several times a day. Everyone was incredibly polite and attentive. I have stayed in many Resorts, Zoetry is in the top 3. The only negative might be the beach, not a fan of the bottom, although we loved the peer and sitting by the beach.
A nice intimate property

The team at the hotel is fantastic and the rooms are very nice. All staff interactions were very positive. my only suggestion is to change the breakfast and lunch menu on a daily basis. it was the same menu during our entire seven nights. if you’re hoping to travel and have a very intimate setting, this is a location you need to be.
Be prepared

Overall stay was average. Pools are small. Fire pits and hot tub didn’t work. Kept running out of alcohol and everything was watered down. Barely any entertainment. Yoga is once a week. Stray cats on resort and being abused. The best part of the resort was the pier on the water. The food was good but only one dinner restaurant that changed their dinner menu daily. Locals beg terribly. They don’t take no for an answer. The room was cleaned well daily, however we had to sit out used dishes out in the hallway on the table. Sometimes it was there for over 24 hours. Overall it’s a nice hotel if you’re looking to relax and regroup.
Almost perfect but not quite.

The overall resort was beautiful. Nice and small with lots of trees. No issues with beach chairs due to the size. Our room was top notch. Good size with a comfortable bed, chair and couch. Large soaking tub and good shower. The balcony was a good size with a great ocean view. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service especially Barbara in the Lobby bar. The Coyaba restaurant was excellent with a different menu every night of our stay. Coyaba also served breakfast and although the menu didn't change there were plenty of good choices. However the Canoa restaurant for lunch had very limited choices and not a lot of lighter options. You did have Jerky Jo's also for lunch and that was fine for one lunch. Resort would have rated 5 stars except for two issues: 1. Only the treadmills in the fitness centre worked. The other equipment were missing power cords for some unknown reason and the staff couldn't provide replacements. 2. The music tended to be too loud both during the day and at the live entertainment. The band on our first day was 30 feet from the tables in the restaurant but had the volume up like they were playing in a stadium. It could be heard all through the resort. Not the serenity we look for in a Zoetry property.
