Perfect for our family trip

After reading quite a few negative reviews before we came I was slightly concerned but I must say this hotel was perfect for our 4 night family trip. Hotel is in a perfect location next door to grand central station. Yes the room may need a lick of paint here and there etc but it was spotless everyday cleaners came in. Wasn’t particularly noisy at night considering the hustle and bustle outside. Shop was expensive but you get $15 a day to spend in there and there are plenty of shops locally to grab drinks or breakfast from. Staff checking in and out were polite and helpful and they have a luggage storage for the first or last day at $4 per case which I didn’t think was too bad. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment but the reception and lobby area was huge and airy and very chilled. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.
Would go back. Handy location.

This hotel is perfect location wise! Friendly staff and easy to get about. Complimentary $15 per day at the local market inside the hotel was really good! Was not expecting that so it was definitely a plus! Got a room towards the end of the hallway so in terms of noise it wasn’t so bad… just the normal noise outside from the busy New York. I had already read some reviews before and they were accurate. Rooms are outdated with some chipped furniture, dirty air vents and lack of amenities. I would say that in terms of cleanliness it could be a lot better, a bit of dust and marks on the floor upon arrival. Towels also had some stains. Phoned once to housekeeping so we could have more towels however they never came by. On a plus note the bed was really comfortable so had a good sleep every day.
