We held our Son's Wedding on May 25. Valentina did an awesome job in making it a memorable event. She had all the details taken care of and the Bride and Groom did not have to worry about anything. The h...otel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend it for a wedding event as they do a great job!!!!

I stayed at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate my birthday and enjoy my first visit to PV. Overall, I had a good stay. The hotel itself is nicely situated with stunning ocea...n views and a private beach—which was easily the highlight of the property. While the resort is nice, it doesn’t quite feel luxurious. That said, we really loved our room. We booked the ocean view room with a hot tub, and it was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable bed, his-and-hers sinks, and a cozy living area. Prior to arrival, the hotel reached out to ask about the nature of our trip, and I shared that we were celebrating my birthday. They responded with a promise to “send something nice,” but unfortunately, there was no birthday amenity or even a mention of it at check-in, which was disappointing. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and the food overall was solid for an all-inclusive. The pools could have been cleaner, but again, the beach more than made up for it. Security was present and taken seriously, which was appreciated. Staff members were generally polite, though I wouldn’t describe the service—especially in the lobby—as particularly warm or personable. I’d recommend this resort for families or those looking for an all-inclusive experience with a beautiful beachfront location. For my next visit to Puerto Vallarta, I’ll likely opt for a boutique hotel to try something a bit more personalized.

Pros: Private beach, gym, foam party at the main pool, activities. Cons: Pressure campaign upon arrival to sign up for Ziva rewards program. Interaction seemed like a Time Share presentation. Employee pe...rsisted even after saying no. Set the wrong mood for the rest of the trip. Hotel Double charged my credit card for transportation. After notifying the front desk and again at checkout. Still waiting for a resolution. OK: food at restaurants, buffet was the best choice

Old, dated hotel with many disappointments! We booked a "Swim-Up" room which wasn't available once we arrived. We were "upgraded" to a "Plunge Pool" room which was worthless! The pool was tiny, old and not... in great shape. The room felt very dated. The staircase is really steep and narrow. The spa was under construction - which we were not told about before our visit. So, loud banging, dust and dirt everywhere. We could hear the machinery during our treatments. The view from the spa pool was 100% blocked by some hanging fabric to hide the construction, but you could still see it, hear it and get the dirt on you. I was really disappointed. The food was fine - typical all-inclusive. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but it was fine and lots of options. The servers were all lovely. The beach is great. The pools are fine. But, the resort is old and dated. The room and spa situations were really disappointing.

Erasmo was very helpful and took his time showing us all the hotel amenities and where all the restaurants were located which was very helpful. Throughout our stay he made sure we had everything we needed... for our stay. Despite the hotel being under renovations it was a nice stay.
