The wedding at the Hyatt Ziva Resort was the highlight of my trip. The hotel resort offers excellent service but lacks in restaurant quality and availability. While four restaurants are advertised not all of them were open each night, limiting my options over my three day stay. The room is spacious and updated but the hot water is spotty and the AC strained to keep a decent temperature in August. I found brown mold growing in the corner of the front entrance. The hotel infrastructure needs updating. Many of the guests moved rooms seeking more comfortable accommodations in the newly renovated wing which still had paint smell lingering.

An amazing experience with hotel’s kayak tour with the instructor Kevin. Nice, clean, beautiful beach, good location, food was good, service was friendly, pools are very nice, restaurants are very friendly, people are very hospitality.

We stayed here for our honeymoon during the “off” season. It was easy to get pool chairs and reservations. I would recommend for off season, it’s probably really crowded during prime season but we had plenty of room.

Nice pool, albeit small compared to other properties we’ve visited, lovely beach. Food quality was below our expectations compared to other AI we’ve attended. 2 of our 3 visitors also got sick from the food and we heard others talk about similar experiences at the pool. Hotel was accommodating in terms of offering room service and medical assistance after the 3rd staff member I told. The first two either didn’t care or my comment was lost in translation; not entirely sure. It was an OK stay, but I’m not planning on a return.

this is my third time to the property but first time since it’s been purchased by Hyatt and changed to a Ziva resort. I was very impressed with the improvements they’ve made and quality of the food and service experience. The location is fantastic, which is why I keep coming back.
