Third time visited in the last 12 months so that says a lot. This is and will remain my go to resort for trips with my girlfriends for that relaxing fun filled break. Reception: We had requested a double r...oom but sadly as we got there later in the day they had all been allocated, but thanks to Yaniris on reception she managed to move my sister and I the very next day to a lovely room overlooking the gardens. Concierge service is very good but sometimes you have to wait a while if they are busy but this is because they ensure that your request is fully dealt with before moving to the next person. If you like your sports you just ask them to put the tv on by the breakfast restaurant around 25 minutes beforehand and they will find the channel for you. Once again the food was lovely, especially DonPablo. I read an earlier review saying you have to book months in advance - what a load of twaddle and certainly not true. You can book via the app 10 days before your arrival. We did and had no issues at all. The rooms were always very clean as were the bars, pools and gardens. Maintenance and cleaning is constant to keep the place looking so beautiful. The staff are the people who make it and I don’t know where to start really as they are all so friendly regardless of their position there.In the bar areas - all the waitresses in the Tamarind are lovely and so bright and cheerful as is Francisco . Dilisa, Edgar and Marcio at the pool bar so wonderful. Entertainment team still led expertly by Ana, although changed a little since previous visit in November, they remain one of the most friendly teams I have ever come across. Roberto, Majorie, Evelyn, Alexis and (thank you Maria for my one to one Spanish lesson that one day). We had fun! Also thank you Fido for doing a quick happy birthday video for one of our friends who couldn’t join us this time - she loved it! We also ventured over the family side 2 or 3 times this holiday as my nephews visited for our 2nd week and there were probably more activities suitable for them over there as they are late teens/early 20s. It was not as rowdy as I would have expected and actually lying around the pool was more comfortable during the intense sunny days as there seemed to be more of a sea breeze there. Congrats to Pablo on his promotion to entertainment manager over there - you deserve it! I must also mention the duo that play on both resorts. I’m sorry I don’t know your names but the lady has a beautiful voice and together with the guy playing drums they make a great team. They always sing Visa Para Un Sueño when they spot me as they know it is one of my favourites. Please thank them for that. It was lovely to be recognised by some of the staff and welcomed as old friends - we really feel as if we are part of Bahia Principe. We also visited the casino for the first time - sadly not a successful visit cash wise but we had fun! The only thing that put a bit of a dampener was a group of guests staying at the same time as us on the adult side who were smoking right in the middle of the pool. They were loud, annoying and using inappropriate language and being rude to other guests something I’ve never encountered here before. One also vomited around the pool…..which the others found most amusing. They should have known better seeing they were in their 60s and 70s. However they were dealt with swiftly by reception and security and they left the pool very quickly. Sadly this could happen at any resort worldwide and hotels cannot vet their guests but it’s good to see that such bad behaviour is not tolerated. Looking forward to our next visit hopefully in October/November.

Warning - The 52000 block is currently being rewired. The constant hammering and anglegrinding is horrendous as the channels are hacked out of the concrete. In addition there is a near constant beeping sou...nd across the complex rather like a reversing truck this sound continues through the night in the corridors and even into the restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet break prepare to be disappointed. Rooms - spacious and nicely decorated. The floors are marble tile which while cool are leathal when wet. Food - fair to good, lots of choice for a 2 week stay. A la carte restaurants all good though mixed reviews in the Italian restaurant Pools - clean and well maintained Pool bar staff friendly and will do thier best to make sure you are kept topped up Staff in general - most speak some English all speak Spanish. Spa - excellent massage facilities, gym,sauna, hot tub, pedicure nails etc Beach - not great, water is muddy in appearance. Trips - various trips available Housekeeping- helpful and will always try to please. I had a bad cold for a few days and they helped look after me... extra water, coffee, etc Final verdict ok place to decompres in the sun. Check that your block isn't going to be subject to power tools during your stay oh and mind the slippy floors

Resort is small but very well kept. Hotel room was third floor, very nice but no elevators. Housekeeping did a great job daily, room was well stocked. Bar service was excellent and friendly. Loved their g...olf course. Beach was ok but water was not inviting. The food service at buffet and ala cartes was not good. We also had a negative experience with guest services and a rude aggressive employee. Good resort but small and service needs improvement.

make sure you don’t get a room on first floor because staff always are loud in hallways doing chores even early in the morning and late at night, I couldn’t get enough sleep there. Entertainment is so poor... just they ask guests to dance with them in the lobby thats it… more suitable for senior guests not a place for young people..The beach is not suitable for swimming has jellyfish and water is not clear, overall I have experienced other resorts too and I am surprised why they charge too much, compared to other hotels, definitely didn’t worth the money i paid…

My family and I were very happy with this resort! God blessed us with such a wonderful vacation and the people that worked at the resort made it fantastic! The food was excellent and the entertainment wa...s awesome! The beach was clean and you felt safe. The beach was beautiful and we took in all God's beautiful nature He created. I would go back in a New York second.
